Personally I've liked Alex from the first couple of weeks and still think he should win.

Has anyones opinions changed for who they initially supported, if yes why?

I liked Kates first impression.

I disliked Alex's first impression.

Since then, nothing has changed at all, I still dislike the grumpy young man who spends all day lookin for someone and something to whinge about.

I liked Kate for the first day too when I thought she was a symbol of Grrl Power. Turned out she was just another soppy lass.

I wanted Alex out when I first saw him - thought he was annoying.

I didn't mind Jonny, at first. I thought he'd be popular, though.

I always liked Sandy though. He wouldn't have won after that evil psychologists' edition that painted him out to be a master tactition, rather than an amusing, miserable git.

I grew to like Alex after his rants about hygeine, and his little sessions with Sandy (I was against all things BB2, so I was still in 'I hate everyone in this house' mode). Alex was my favourite when Sandy escaped.

I started liking Kate again after Sophie left, but I now dislike her after that brilliant piece of jeu de theatre in nominating Tim and Alex.

Favoured Alex during the 'Weegate' saga, so Jonny's been downhill ever since.

Never, EVER liked Jade.

Adele, Sandy and Tim saw through them more or less from the start. Hated Jade, but have changed my mind drastically. Have always thought Alex genuine and there is a better side to him yet to be shown and may swing my vote if he cleans up his act with Jonny and Kate. Getting on my nerves with his bad taste in friends. Loved Jonny, Kate, Sophie and Alison throughout. PJ liked him then had nothing but distaste for him after treating Jade like he did after the bed saga and his part in the Sophie bashing, but liked him again for his loyalty to his friends, finding Adelle out and being the glue that held the group together last week. Lynne never realy got to know her (Didn't deserve the boos). Lee never liked him although also never deserved boos. Spencer a nonentity at 1st then grew on me, but now glad he went after some of his disrespectful comments about Kate. (Even if they were a joke). Sunnita waste of space good thing about her going she was replaced by Sophie.

I think the two people that I have changed my mind about most are Adele and Alex.

Adele, (on the basis that everyone is playing a game, that being that every person will be trying to make themselves as popular with the other housemates and with the public, virtually by any means possible) was playing the game well, I thought, until she started to use Jade. I think she made a big mistake there, because Jade is a loose cannon. This brought her gameplan to an abrupt halt as other housemates because aware of it. I felt that towards the end, she played the game too obviously, whereas originally, I thought she stood a good chance of winning.

The way Alex plays the game has never really been obvious, and on the whole I think that people who are not obvious about the way they play are more likely to succeed. But, although I don't find myself being a particular fan or otherwise of any housemates, I have actually seen sides to him that I find rather difficult. The orange saga was one, when Kate cried, he smiled. Also, when they all hid from Jade the night before last, he totally threw the joke away in the way he spoke to Jade, causing her to walk away. I don't think he expresses himself well, perhaps that's why he was quite admiring of the way Adele put things.

All the other housemates I have had pretty consistent views on, sometimes they get on my nerves, sometimes they don't. Except Tim, I just keep finding myself asking "why is he there, had he never seen Big Brother before?" If the poor guy really thought he was going to experience x weeks of intelligent and stimulating conversation, he must be living in a different world!

I really wanted alison to win!
Then I wanted spencer to win!
Now I am opting for the best of a bad bunch! and going for Kate
She Is entertaining (what would the show be without its entertainers) and she is the least whingey and moping of the lot! ( I realise she has cried for no reason but so have the rest and ten times more irritatingly)

Jade - couldnt bear her at first - almost love her now - apart from the voice.

Kate - nondescript at first - liked her a lot recently - gone off her last coupladays.

Tim - didnt like him from the beginning - today talking to jonny on the couch - he's growing on me.

Jonny - cant stand him - anything about him - nothing has changed except today i like Tim better.

Alex - loved him from the start - love him still - the only one true to himself all the time - for better or worse.

I haven't changed my mind, I know you asked for some info from those people that have, but anyway I thought add my 2 pennies worth. Was indifferent at the beginning, missed the first one on channel 4 due to being out. I didn't form opinions of like and dislikes till Spencer went. Didn't think much of Kate, Jade or Jonny. Though Lynne got a raw deal though. Thought Alex amusing, as like him, I do like to have moan and I really want Alex to win it I can't give a good enough reason why apart from it would make me happy!

I have just lied, I decided I liked Alex best before Spencer went as I've just remembered voting for Spencer about 4 times, as I wanted Alex to stay. So I think I've always liked Alex and still do!

I liked Alex on night one when he started to go on about his tea to Alison.
I hated Jonny from night one because he said'let's all just have a gud laff.' and the way he was dressed like a five year old.

nothings changed.

I originally wanted Alison to win.
Now I want Kate to win

I originally HATED Jade.
Now I feel she's getting a raw deal, especially from Alex.
P.S. I still don't love her, just feel for her.

Of the five left

Alex: didnt like him at first, then liked him, now dont like him again.
Jade: liked her at first then didnt, now like her a lot.
Kate: liked her all the way through
Jonny: Sometimes I like him, sometimes not, his mood swings are a bit confusing to form a solid opinion for me.
Tim: never liked him much, felt a bit sorry for him re his girlfriend tho, and his mum lying to him about it.

Of the evictees.

Lynne: I thought she was very hard done by, she never really got a chance, because of 2 drunken conversations.
Alison: I loved alison!!..thought she was an ideal BB contestant.
Lee: couldnt warm to him at all.
Sandy: What did he think BB was all about?, has he ever watched it in the past?, didnt like him at all.
Spencer: Sorta liked him, dry sense of humour, although sometimes a bit to 'laddish' for me.
PJ: Bill clinton isnt it..'I did not have sex with that women'..again a bit 'laddish' for me.
Sophie: I really liked Sophie, but I thought she made a mistake with Lee though.
Adele: she could be likeable at times, but her tactics misfired on her VERY badly, and I feel Jade took a lot of flak for Adele.
so it was probabaly poetic justice that Jade survived aginst Adele.
Sunita. From what I saw of her I loved Sunita, and wish she had stayed longer.

Of the five remaining housemates:

ALEX - I didn't really like Alex at first, but he has grown on me. When he was up against Spencer I wanted Spencer to stay, but now I'm glad Alex did. He's been too moany over the last few days though, I like him much more when he's more relaxed (if that's the right word?)

JADE - Never really liked Jade, most of the time I find her VERY annoying, but she is sometimes funny and is just about bearable. A few times I've found her a bit endearing, but then I remember how bitchy she's been, especially regarding Sophie.

JONNY - Never really liked Jonny, but dislike him more than I did a couple of weeks ago, not sure why. I'm kind of indifferent though.

KATE - I've liked Kate from almost the beginning, although at first I thought she was a bit shallow/spoilt. When she was on the poor side I started to like her even more, and pretty much throughout I've wanted her to win.

TIM - arghh!!! The annoyingness!!! When he first arrived I thought he'd be a bit annoying but he has just got more and more irritating! GET HIM OUT!

Kate to win, Alex second.

ALEX - thought he was a whiny irritating git at first, and i pretty much still do. has shown the odd redeeming feature though

JOHNNY - my favourite after the first week or so, now got to the point where he irritates me as much as alex. completely obsessed with how others view him

KATE - my favourite now. always thought she was alright and shes grown and grown on me. to my eyes the most genuine one in there, and far far funnier than johnny without the annoying obsession with what everyone else thinks about her.

JADE - annoying at the start, still annoying now. have some sympathies with her, she doesnt deserved half the shít shes gonna get, but shes still the most annoying person to ever be on big brother

TIM - meh, bit of an arse. dont quite understand why hes as hated as he is though.

Alex has always been my favourite, even when he was moaning all the time at the start. He's genuine, funny and not afraid to be different.

I didn't mind Jonny at the start, now I can't stand him. He goes on and on at Tim and Alex about how detached they are from the group. He seems to wear blinkers when discussing himself with other people; he thinks he's fantastic and can't understand why anyone could possibly not like him.

I liked Kate at the start (going by her looks). When she started hanging around with Alison, I started finding her particularly annoying. Once Alison and Spencer left, I started liking Kate again; she started to act more normally. In the past few days with the emergent divide and factionalism within the house, I've started disliking her again. However, I'd prefer her to win than Jonny.

I couldn't stand Jade at the start. After a few days, I warmed to her a bit, she was dumb and annoying but entertaining. I then went off her totally with all the Sophie bashing. I still find her irritating but there would be a certain amount of schadenfreude on my part if she won instead of Jonny or Kate who no doubt think they can win if they're up against Jade.

Never liked Tim. He's pompous and boring.

i didnt like alex week one...but after week two he was my firm favourite...hes the most genuine and is funny without knowing it.

He may have been a bit down this week but once evil, manipualting Tim has gone, he'll perk up....unfortunately i admit he has bad taste in friends....but luckily most of them have gone now and he can liven up a bit.

I think Alex deserves to win....or kate.

I guess these two comments put it all together.

As for switching camps: initially I just saw Jonny as an arrogant self-centred show off. Now I see him as a nasty agressive chauvininstic d*ck-head (oh, and such a FAKE).

Tim: Well, when he entered I thought he would not survive an eviction - a ****, but a harmless ****. Now I'm warming to him more and more. I just wish he would say to Jonny exactly what he has already inferred ... that Jonny is acting like a complet d*ckhead. I now hope he gets to stay in - but I won't vote for him unless he tells Jonny the truth ...

I didn't really make up my mind until about three weeks ago when I plumped for Kate and haven't wavered for a moment since.

The main change is that I've altered my mind about four times on Alex - from pain in the butt to steadying sensible influence to mere dupe for Adele to somewhat repressed bloke making commendable effort to lighten up and find himself to self-absorbed moaner.

I still want to like the guy, cos in some ways he is a bit like me at that age (frightening huh) but a lot seems to depend on who he's hanging out with which isn't a good sign really!

Alex: I haven't really liked Alex at all throughout the series except when he was being funny and friendly with Kate but other than that I think he's wasted a space on the show because he's just moped and has been VERY nasty to Jade who I think just doesn't deserve it right now.

Jade: Couldn't stand Jade at the start but have warmed to her since after the bitching Marathon finished and I don't think she deserves all the nastiness Alex has been giving her. I don't want her to win but I think she deserves 3rd Place.

Jonny: Jonny is a fake phony and a 'puppet' as in Tim's words, the only thing he's said that I agree on. Whenever someone cries you can bet Jonny will be there playing Superman it makes me cringe! No way should he win!

Kate: I've loved Kate from the minute she walked down those stairs. She's been totally 100% Genuine and has been a great laugh to watch too. I couldn't stand when I saw her falling over while getting changed and the strip! She deserves the 70K and she's the only one I would consider and will be voting in the final.

Tim: A snob and never liked him, simple. Oh and he's a bigheaded egotistic prick too.
