Just a quickie, I'm getting bored with the rants on here(including mine!! lol) I dont think Alex is perfect, FAR from it, but I cant understand why people cant see, for all his faults, he is completely genuine, he's like an open book.

As I said in another post, I was gutted for Alex, I was surprised by Kate's nomination tho I had a sneaky feeling it was going to happen, tho I knew he wouldn't nominate her.
Jonny and Kate, I have to hold my hands up, they've played a good game. My problem with that is; they have not been upfront about what they are doing and pretending they are something they are not.

Jonny thinks he's a really nice guy, which he tries to press upon us at every opportunity. Maybe he is to a degree. It's CH4's editing which really put me off Jonny, they have shown one side of him, being funny and such a lovely guy, while not balancing that, with the other side to him, his temper, what he's like when he's not drinking, his gossiping with Kate, turning every conversation round to him. They have shown both sides of Alex, tho leaned more towards the time's when he's low, or unhappy.

I didn't really have a problem with Kate, I actually quite liked her, but her behaviour the last week has me baffled.I'm not talking about the comedy duo act with Jonny. It has become more and more apparent that she has used ALL the popular guys to gain support. The first week, she thought Alex would be popular, because of his looks and was all over him like a rash. She then decided Spencer was cool, so went for him instead. Last week she saw she was up for eviction and decided to be all over Alex again, she couldn't do it with PJ as he was up too, or Jonny or TIm as they had girlfriends, tho I dare say if they had been half decent looking, she would have chose them instead. As I say fair play to her she has PLAYED the game well!! Leaves a bad taste in my mouth tho, especially after this weeks nominations.

Since Friday onwards, Kates hardly had the time of day for Alex, this could be because of Jonny and PJ grilling her about Follow the van, but I think it has more to do with her hearing the cheers for Jonny outside on Friday and deciding to hook up with Jonny as she thinks he is more popular.

Also, she's used her friendship with Alex to get info from him. Twice now Alex has had a heart to heart with Kate, only for Kate to immediately relay it onto Jonny.

For Kate and Jade to nominate the same two HM'S in the same order seems very strange to me. There has been some colluding going on there. Did anyone hear Jade ask Kate prior to nominations being announced " If 2 people get 3 nominations and I get 2, does that mean I wont be up for eviction?"! The girl's psychic!!

Jade would have been out weeks ago had it not been for CH4's wishes being otherwise. While I dont hate the girl, she grates on my nerves, at times I do feel sorry for her. I cant believe how gullible viewers are, that CH4 can make them believe what CH4 ant them to believe. With some very clever editing, BB fans have gone from baying for blood(which I didn't agree with) to thinking she's a poor soul and should win. Adele was given for sacrifice instead. BB website and CH4 website made such a big thing of Adele and Alex's supposed bitching, yet Kate and Jonny have been doing it most nights, but never reported on website or shown on CH4.

As my topic said they may have played a good game, but not in a nice or true way. Alex has possibly not played the game(or rather not played it the way they have) But he has been consistent and honest, while being funny at times. For this reason I think he should win. The game is supposed to be about real people being put in isolation together. Alex has been the only "real" Hm in there, whether you like him or not.

Be more concise and to the point .. remember, this forum has been taken over by Jonny fanatics who are unable to comprehend more than three sentences at a time.

Throw in the occasional “Jonny we love you” remark (embed throughout your text) and it might then get read (rest points) by them ..

Her comments just now about Tim being better company if he stayed rather than Alex, really makes you wonder how this girl's mind is working. Out of those left i was starting to like Kate, but her behaviour towards Alex the last few days, have been pathetic. And she can have no complaints if he doesn't want to speak to her, i certainly wouldn't if i was in his position. He fell for her scheming, and now i can see no reconcilliation possible. IMO it's going to be a bitter house till the end. Granted she played the game great from her position, but in doing so she can't possibly expect any other reaction than she getting now from Alex.

I totally agree, all that butter 'wouldn't melt in her mouth' crap doesn't wash at all. Kate is very scheming and has allowed herself to become Jonny's puppet because she's allying herself to what she believes is the strongest housemate.

For me I don't think she deserves to win over Alex because he has been amusing, but also unaffected by the cameras. Kate is too aware of them for my liking.

AHA - I'm not saying I agree with you totally, none of the HMs are as good, or as bad as most of the posts on here make them out to be.
I do agree though, that the vast majority of the voting public take their opinions from the CH4 highlights progs.
E4 viewers get a much more balanced view, but even that can be manipulated to some degree if the producers want to do it.

Assuming that most votes will follow what CH4 show, then Alex may be on very shaky ground this week.
I was at a friend's house last night, they were watching the CH4 show (they don't have E4), they have 3 teenage daughters who were all Alex fans until last night. CH4 showed the incident where they hid from Jade, showed Alex take the p*ss, Jade get upset then storm off, and then finished with a shot of Jade in bed, possibly crying.
You could almost hear the mental switches click as the 3 girls unanimously turned against Alex.
I can see an awful lot of younger females (a very large percentage of the voters) voting against him this week, add this to all the Jonny / Kate fans who will vote aginst him and the vote may be very close this week, personally I wouldn't like to try to predict the outcome, but this may be another 'Adele' scenario.

From what I see. ....Alex has done the exact same on more occasions than Kate...he's got friendly with anyone he thought would pander to his ego. I think the reason he was jealous of Spencer was, he knew Kate was the best looking female and wanted her to be 'his' playmate. ..he made friends with anyone he considered to be more schemming and would help further his chance of winning....trouble is, on every occasion, Alex choose the wrong hm's! He's been a puppet for at least 3 hm's....Alex? amusing? At least when Kate is amusing she's imitating people.......Alex is a figure of fun - rest of the time he's just tedious and whinging, and soooo self absorbed. All in all, not a very pleasant individual.IMHO

Lets face it if Alex wasnt a pretty camp boy he would have went ages ago.

Kate Jonny or even jade would be much better winners than Alex or snob Tim

hoho - I dont really see why "pretty" or "camp" comes into it. I think most people are able to judge on other things rather than looks or their demeanour, at least I hope they would, you obviously haven't.
