Is it just me or does there seem to be a bit more sniping between couples this series? First we had Erin openly saying she didn't think Zoe and Ian shouldn't have got their first 10 then tonight we had Darren tonight saying judges have their favs I thought lila was going to fall over she back peddled so fast for him !!!!! I've always like erin but she seems to be showing a very different side to her this series I think Colin's obsessively cimpetative streak is rubbing off on her.

Erin only spoke the truth. And of course the judges have their faves, the same as wel do, they're only human!

Friendly rivalry, nothing more Don't read too much into it or you'll cause arguments!

I think the camararderie is such this year, that they can speak honestly about each others performance without fear of being hurtful.

I did catch that moment on ITT & it was Lilia, who then seemed to clarify that she meant two other couples are normally 1st & 2nd with the judges with her & Darren being in the middle rankings, before the public vote.

Got to make allowance for her using a foreign language.

BTW. Erin didn't snipe at Zoe over the 10, though she did question the judges for awarding a perfect score, for a imperfect dance; even Len seemed to question this on ITT.

i saw this too, erins comments the other week were a bit harsh, sure they were what everyone was thinking but there was a reason they weren't saying it out loud! she needs to learn a bit of tact. i really liked her last series, i thought julian and her were very cute but i think she had a nicer personality because she didn't expect to get very far, this series with success at her feet she's turning nasty, it might just lead to her downfall we do control half of the votes! she did redeem herself in tonights ITT, she was very charming, reminds me a cat, purring one minute and hissing the next. very confusing!

In other words, she's as human as the rest of us, but might just be naturally inclined to speak her mind?

Nowt wrong with that, to my mind. Most of the FP's have questioned some or other of the judges' decisions this series.

I think Erin was having a pop at the judges with her comments, not PAtsy or Zoe.

I think Erins comments were justified - I agree with Glen p , Zoe was awarded a perfect 10 for an imperfect dance _ Colin was awarded 8,s for a dance that was talked up by the judges as being "the best" from the male celebs ever! I'm not surprized Erins annoyed !

True, but nobody came blame the couples for this &, after some of the thinkgs that have happened with the judging this series, you can't blame them if the dancers do get more than a little frustrated.

At least the rivalry between them does seem to have stayed at a friendly banter/mickey taking level throughout the competition; something which is a credit to all of them.

I think the inconsistency of the judges marking has been niggling the contestants this year and must be very hard for the pros - when they are trying to get the best out of the celebs do they go for technique or crowd pleasing routine?

No more sniping than other years..and also remember editing.

Last year was much worse..Carol had the knives out in an interview when she came out, this year they all seem to be very close.

I think because this year it is so close all the couples feel they have a chance to win so are much more competitive and there are more rivalries for the top spot. Last year it was obvious Jill would win. There weren't any couples that could compete with her, other than Denise (who I preferred BTW )
