Who Pulls the strings - Biased Editing
DaveRP

Over this series watching E4 and the coverage on Channel 4, and as mentioned in lots of threads here, the editing of the highlight program is edited to favour different HM's at different times.

Who is dictating the bias on the editing

Channel 4 - Ratings, Must get some cut from phone votes, to vindicate Graham Nortons & Rise's Rantings

Endemol - Phone vote Money

Producers - Creating story lines

Editors - Whim of the day's editor

Maybe a combination of all 4 in a daily production meeting?!

I suspect we are reading way too much into the supposed bias editing. I think they are doing a job the best they can and go with the flow. (eg Adele) If it goes too far they take a step back. (eg Jade).
