Have you noticed how his little eyes light up when anyone says anything about SCD?

He's always really quick to point out that dancing is manly, and the celebs already have careers so they're not doing it to bump up their profiles too. I think he may have refused this year because he was worried about things like that.

I hope he does do it next year, he would be amazing, don't you think?

What are you on about clotty?

Richard will only do it, if Judy does, and shes taught by Brendon.

I can't see Judy doing it but I'll be surprised if Richard isn't in next year's line up! That Kerry Katona keeps going on in her "column"about wanting to be in the next series.

I think I would have to switch off, if that's the case.

I would die if they partnered her with Anton.

OH gawd, please no. Please don't Richard Madeley spoil my favorite programme for me. The man is so arrogant. I'd only watch if they paired him with Brendan .

Well judging by some of the comments on here, we'll have him out of it in no time!

I'd love it if he went out in the first week. Just after he had been slaughtered by CRH and Arlene. I'd only watch for his humiliation

Realistically, because of his height, he could only be paired with Camilla.

I think it would be great if they paired a celebrity couple eg Richard and Judy with a dancing couple eg Darren B and Lilia - it would add a new dimension to the show

When he was interviewing Darren and Lillia, Richard said "they asked me to do it this series but I had to turn it down because of this show (i.e. the live at 5, Richard Judy channel 4 show)". So he HAS already been asked and turned it down. As well as SCD being class entertainment, I think he's so interested because he was so nearly in it.

Noooooooo. Why did they ask him? Please don't let him on. I see him loads, cos he lives near me, I'll have to tell him not to bother.

I don't think judy will ever come on. You never see her anywhere other than on their program

Don't worry Eclipse, the point is he was already asked and turned it down. It's unlikely he'll accept because their live show will still be going on, so nothing has changed.

*waves to takseem* Thanks for asking! Had my fourth exam yesterday and today, so have one left (the most horrible of them all) on Friday afternoon. So I guess I won't really be thinking about results till then, and it's a week of worrying till I'm put out of my misery! Not feeling very optimistic, I guess we'll just see either way

Richard obviously loves the show and I think he would secretly love to do it - I reckon he would be quite good, too! Sure, he's got his R&J show to do, but surely he could take a couple of months out in order to do something as wonderfully exciting and refreshing as SCD!?? Judy obviously hasn't been asked - thank goodness!! She'd be awful!!! She's so nervy - she can barely sit on the R&J sofa without shaking and twiddling her necklace all the time. Perhaps she's threatened Richard with divorce if he DOES do the show because a) she couldn't cope with presenting the show with someone else and b) she's probably worried that Richard might "fall in love" with his dance partner! Have you noticed that every time Richard interviews an SCD couple, he asks that very question: "Did you fall in love with each other?" "You MUST have fallen a little bit in love with each other??" He asked Jill and Darren last year, James and Camilla and Darren and Lilia. The man is obsessed!! Just because he and Judy fell in love with each other whilst being married to other people, he seems to think everyone else is at it!! Jill Halfpenny put him in his place, though, by replying "It was STRICTLY PROFESSIONAL, Richard!"

Oh please god Nooooooooooo. I just cant abide them (fat thighs and the theif is my pet name for them) so I would be really upset if they were allowed to ruin something as beautiful as SCD
