Can I just add that the actually SCD format does not hold back when criticising contestants and trying to provoke controversy.

The judges hardly hold back when making negative comments towards the celebrities. They themselves have called out celebrities who should not be in the competition, made comments about their commitment, dedication and work ethic. And also vindictive comments made by eliminated celebrities, directed at the judges.

ITT, has Camilla on to comment on her and Brendan's personal relationship. (referring to an apparently untrue tabloid article) Showed Ian a clip making out Denise was committing a betrayal towards him. Used editing to show conflict between couples (fiona and Brendan and Patsy and Anton).

I've been insulted on this forum, particularly last Saturday. I just put it down to the particular poster being unable to formulate an articulate argument. It may be because I've been on forums which didn't hold back when making comments, but maybe we should lighten up a bit. I don't see anything worse said on this forum that I haven't seen on the actual program.

Here here Eclipse! It's time everyone stood back took a deep breath and assessed the situation. This is a TV program giving entertainment to you and me, publicity to celebs and dancers, making a nice bit of money for the BBC and a little bit of money for Children in Need. Everybody's a winner no one's a loser.
Let's agree to differ now and again, respect the other person's point of view, have a laugh and get back to enjoying the show and enjoying posting on here.

Sorry to take so long to reply to a few things on here, perhaps I should have been clearer the other day. Personally I don't like any forum member telling everyone else how they should behave, so the month's membership bit is not the real point. And that does not make me a wannabe Mod, for the the information of language_nyc .....

I wasn't referring to anyone at all when I said Some of the pro-fanaticism about various dancer/celebs is pretty frightening, actually. Just a general observation, which happen to be true [never even read the Anton threads, as it happens ..... ]
