I've just read this in The Sun

"The two housemates with the fewest votes will be booted out in a first hour-long live special on July 26. The winner will then be announced in a second show two hours later"

Anyone else heard this, I think the HM's are expecting one of them to go on the Thursday like BB2.

That is the current plan, although they could easily evict someone this Saturday night.

Do you realise that the ones who come 4th, 3rd & 2nd will get virtually no publicity or Davina chat at all, all anyone will be focusing on is who's going to win. Alex or Tim, depending who goes this week, will get more coverage than the 3 runners up.

I strongly believe that there will be four in the house for the whole of next week. I can't see them booting someone out on Saturday.

For a start, there's only a half-hour show scheduled for Saturday and they wouldn't be able to fit in an eviction comfortably in that time.

Secondly, all the tv listings say that the last four will stay until next Friday and the listings are provided by Channel 4.

For BB2 last year, when Elizabeth was evicted on the Thursday, was this promoted in the press as being an eviction. Was it only the housemates who didn't know it was going to happen?

They'll get just as much screen time as the evictees usually get.

On Friday, they'll all be packed and ready to go, so the four evictions will fit perfectly into 2 x 1hr shows.

I know they have as much interview time but if last year was anything to go by the focus is not as much on their time in the house but excitement for whos going to win. This especially applied to Helen, who came second, yes she had her interview but everyones ,mind was on Brian, still in the house.

That's the downside to coming second.

The only way they could get around that is to leave the winner in the house for a night on their own and I don't think there's much chance of them doing that!

My thoughts would be for Davina to interview both of them together in or out of the house before the final result was announced and have the announcement as the final part of the show. That way the last two would have say without being outshone by the other.

I remember when Darren came third for bb1 and even Anna coming 2nd I really wanted to see their interviews even though Craig was left on his own for an hour or so. I think they will get as much publicity as the 1st placed person, the whole night is rather exciting init
