I loved Fudge! Wow, he is so cuuuuute! I agree with whoever said that he's much better than Valerie! My dogs also loved him, they were sniffing the TV screen and whining and stuff! What an adorable dog!

Yes, Fudge was particularly gorgeous though I think my heart still lies with Buster (Paul O'Grady's dog)

No problem, life would be very boring, if we all fancied the same men

He's definately of the spaniel family, but i cant remember the exact breed, he's nearly the cutest dog i've ever seen and i've seen a few! (still not as cute as my baby Kira tho **pulls sopy face**)

He is indeed a Clumber Spaniel. Very cute but very dribbly, I'm told.

I totally agree with you, Buster is soooooo cute!!!Always staring out into space and stealing the limelight from Paul! Anyways this a SCD thread not a Paul O Grady

I agree Fudge was just sooo sweet, desparately wanting to get down and "go run in the woods" as Claudia said. heehee

I love slobbery lumpy dogs, they rock!! Ones that just sit there are no fun!!! My dog would be running madly round the studio causing havoc!!!! "Sorry, I'm just strangling my dog...." hehe!

Camilla seemed a bit weary of him! lol Fudge looks all fluffy and huggable! I want to hug him!

I had just been about to start a thread called "How irritating was that stupid dog" when I saw this one so thought I'd come here and start an argument - it wouldn't sit still, was all slobbery (he's a chef, yukky yukky, dirty hands) and kept making annoying huffy noises and distracting the guests....Love James, not his dog!!!

creeps away quickly expecting deluge of angry comment!!!!

Don't creep away Voda, the dog got on my nerves after a while.

Wonder if it can Samba any better than its master. Ooh, that was below the belt . . . just a joke, honest!

I'm hoping it's okay to be rude about a dog....dogs can't read can they? - or get hurt feelings.....Actually i felt a bit sorry for it, it looked all hot and stressed...

Sad thing is, there are probably people out there who will vote for J & C because of the lovely dog.

Haha of course we wont **looks shifty** we might steal him tho, yeah he did look a bit hot nd bothered didn't he bless him but he doesn't know he's on tv, god kids are never as quite as he was and they know they're on telly, i thought he was well behaved considering. I liked ur comment Gazbo, got a mental picture of fudge on his back legs trying to wriggle his hips, hehe thats going to entertain me for ages lol

Fudge is a real cutie just like his owner

i felt sorry for the poor lad...he was obviously very hot and thirsty and not very happy about having to sit there in the heat of the studio lights. i think it was a bit of a cruelty thing to make him sit there. after all, valerie goes almost everywhere with julian and is quite used to it all. also, she is a much smaller dog with a short coat. clumber spaniels are quite heavy, and have quite thick coats as everyone probably saw...poor fudge....

Personally I prefer Valerie - she's cuter, more refined, and less vocal.
