As said before no faults technically and probably the celeb who comes closests to the level of the pro's. However I don't see that close relationship between him and Erin ”

I slightly disagree because that would mean that his kiss on erin's neck was a pre-meditated moment and i don't think it was you only kiss someone like that if you are comfortable enough with the person to know that she will not flinch or get annoyed. After he kissed me and they walked over to the judges she was hanging onto him every bit as much as he onto her. i don't think that erin is the sort of person that would hide her displeasure if he did something she took exception to but its all opinion and perception after all

Yes I did mention that to him. He said he thought it was funny. He commented that patsy used to do that too to anton. He was surprised to learn that people thought he was annoyed by it. He isnt.
IAN AND ZOE GET ON REALLY WELL. THEY DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP AT ALL.
Hope that is clear enough for everyone.
I told him I had pitched in to the discussion to defend them, and will continue to do so.
They are pulling out all the stops for Saturday. They are tired, they admit that but they are still putting in 110% effort.
He says thank you for the support, please keep voting for them.”

You're missing my point. What someone says is not always what they feel and it is given away by body language. I'll accept body language is open to different interpretations. If Ian says they are getting on fine, that is his right to say that. Good luck to him, if he is quite willing to not have a say. Maybe he should stop trying to talk because every time he tries he is stopped by Zoe.

Of course he is going to say everythings rosy - he's hardly gonna say anything else just before a semi-final is he.

However I too think people have overblown their apparent dislike for each other but I get the impression Ian (quite rightly, given the amount of work he's put in) is desperate to win and he feels Zoe is jeopardising their chances by not thinking before she speaks .
(i.e her call for people to vote for James, criticism of their music, calling her Cha-Cha pants, agreeing with those who think she is being overmarked etc., etc. ...)

Incidentally I thought that they looked quite good in the admittedly short clip of their training tonight.

I guess your missing my point too. He said he and Zoe had got on well from day 1. I knew that anyway.
He was not upset by her interupting him. He said he thought it was funny. He was surprised that any of you lot put a different interpretation on it.
fortunately they never come on here and read the negative comments posted.
If he looked a bit unhappy it was a) because he hadnt shaved! and b) because he was tired. it has been a long hard time for all of them and it is beginning to show. Just forget trying to analise somrthing you cant really tell from a few minutes on the Tv contrived by the bbc!
Ian and Zoe are OK

Well said Elizabeth.

The problem with trying to interpret body language is that you need to observe people for longer than the brief periods we are allowed to see each couple.

They have camera crews attending their training sessions, but the editors get hold of the VT & convert the hours of footage into something they see as being interesting.

The classic example of the problems this can create for people trying to assess a couple's relationship was demonstrated on Richard & Judy teh other Friday, when an expert watched all the clips the Beeb has released of them, in training & on SCD/ITT & reached the conclussion that they were very much in love.

Sadly for the expert, the whole time, James, in particular, & Camilla where collapsed, laughing, on the R & J sofa; having just cateorically denied they had ever been anythingmore than close friends.

On this basis I'd definitely lean towards giving a statement from Ian the benefit of the doubt.
