Jonny reminds me of Nigel Planers character in the Comic Strip Funseekers when he gets booted out of the 18-30 club for being 34.

Good posting loobyloo - had me in stitches.

I am a new person here, and i would like to say that personally i think most of what people see of Jonny is biased anyway, when you watch proper coverage on E4 (not C4's edited and Pro Kate show) you will see Jonny being a bit of an ar@e, and being serious and boring, but in my opinion you dont see him being two faced, sly or devious. i am not a family member or friend of his, I do think that the majority of people who do think that he is false are from further down south. Why? because no-one from further south realises that this is how the majoirty of men from the age of 17 - 35 tend to act on. Just have a look around towns on a Friday or Saturday night and there are thousands of Jonny-alikes running around acting like an ar@e and not being called sly or a ****.

very true it doesn't mean that, but just acting like an arse doesn't mean that you happen to have "agenda" but even if he does, "its only a game show" to quote the 1st show, and i think if he doesn't win then who deserves to? Most of the others are the most mind-numbingly boring and irritating lot i have ever seen. Alex and Tim have their noses so far up each other its obscene, kate is acting like a dog on heat and Jade.....What can you say about Jade. Jonny has put up with Sandy telling him he didnt like him, being nominated for eviction 3 times, running out of cigarettes and as a smoker myself (thats a bitch) and being stuck on the poor side for weeks on end, and still manages to try and have a good time. I think that more than anything is a winner. Just thinking about it isnt all this exactly what was said about both previous winners Craig & Brian, about both of them it was said "agenda" or "game plan" so if he has a plan i really hope it works because he deserves to win it.

I'm a north easterner though displaced south now and probably get so het up about Jonny as it's like the Andy Capp stereotype all over again...!

Is Jonny really 29? If so its a damning inditement of the effects of baccy! He's been in the fire service 11 years, worked in shops, trained in graphic design for a while...come on, are there a few more years hiding in that face lol!

I've been watching the live feeds on E4 ( tellys boring) and it seems the only 1 to bring up about the " divide" in the house was Jonny.

He might have mentioned it was a better atmosphere or whatever. But the bloke always has to rub it in doesnt he?

Alex give him his due is trying. Or was I imaganing Kate sat on the same seat earlier?

Yup she made an effort to, but will she report back to " Daddy Jonny" later? time will tell lets wait and see.

I like kate but her nominating Alex this week was below the belt as she had issues with Jade too and had voted her 3 weeks on the trot and would have last week as well if they could have voted. They all bring up Alex's faults. Which he has.... even though i support him, he has many.

But he is genuine.

Jonny just wants to win .

Any way even if Alex doesnt. looks like Brilcreem want him and that will make him some money.
Jokes on Jonny what else will he be offered?
And Kate to get the £70k Ohhhh I cant wait to see his expresion

Jonny is a ****, plain and simple. I have now little respect for Kate, who in every conversation she has with Alex has to relay it onto her Guru Jonny. This was his plan all along, using bullying tactics to try and influence housemates against eachother. Did you hear him in the garden this morning swaying Kate once again? Today he complained about there being an atmosphere and a divide, yet he is the one that brought it to life.

What way did Jonny think that Tim would react to him whenever he mentioned the comments shouted across the wall? Did he expect Tim to be like "Thanks Jonny. That's help!" Of course not. He was playing with his head, it's that simple. You don't go telling people what nasty remarks are shouted across the wall unless you have an agenda. This is what these Jonny fans seem to not realise concerning their unsung hero. That whole Tim should take the phone call was a charade if I ever seen one.

In my opinion I wish Jonny fans would wake up to see what a fraud he is. He reminds me of some club 18-30 rep who still thinks he's 19.
”

Well said. Johnny is stirring things and I've seen Kate stirring from the early weeks, but they seem to get away with it. During these last couple of weeks Kate has been busy flashing her body to sway the male vote. We have not seen the real Kate or the real Johnny

Why does everybody think that just because you are 29 you must be an adult all the time, im 27 (wow) and i have 3 older brothers and they act more stupid than Jonny or their kids most of the time, i think that is what makes a person fun to be around and you can have serious conversations with Jonny too. I think his main fault is that as a fan he is still too aware of the cameras, not acting up, but maybe feeling that without him what are they going to do all day. Sit on the sofa's with Anal Alex and Ginger Tim and have a conversation about Hong Kong or play croquet, how many people can truly say they would prefer that to having a laugh in the pool or pillow fighting (which was PJ and Jade) or just brightening up the day with a singing contest. Not me thats for sure and i cant sing either, so that would be a laugh in itself

”

Yes that is true - a bit later on he did say he had heard 'I love you Alex' -- To be honest I think this is what he heard in the first place -after all how likely would it be to hear 'I love you Tim'?

I also think that he may have been back pedalling for all he was worth.

I heard a rumour on another board he was 39.

He does seem to revel in the stereotype though, all the localisms he uses.
I don't hear Ant n Dec and other young northeast lads sound so old man as Jonny.
He doesn't seem to use any 'in' phrases at all.

Excuse me Helen, but I think you have an odd definition of an adult? Y'mean if an adult wants to be amusing he has to behave like a 5 year old? Serious professional help needed.

As to Jonny being able to sustain any intelligent conversation, have you heard any? Refer you to this thread, and rest my case:

you have to remember that accents and "in phrases" change from one town to the next. One of Jonny's is "Marra" which is friend but in Gateshead or Newcastle you just wouldnt say that as it tends to be a Maccam thing if you get the idea. Ant and Dec are both from Newcastle so things that they say on Tv Jonny probably wouldnt and i bet you A&D would act differently if they were in Celeb BB and behaving "normally"

1 definition of an adult - someone who has reached the age of legal majority or a fully grown person or plant....Why do you have to act your age when in a controlled and sometimes boring environment, wouldn't that just be boring? and as for the Euro chat i personally think Kate was trying to prove she isn't just pretty face and what was her answer to the topical question, also just for your information i couldnt care less whether we have the euro or not, just doesn't make interesting conversation with my peers, maybe in an evening with tony blair it would but i dont know anyone who isnt trying to be something they are not or in different social circles who has a serious conversation about that.

I like Alex and find him the most interesting. He can, however, be very irritating.

Kate and jonny have worked very hard to win and on that basis one of them deserves it.

I find it rdiculous to hate any of them. What have they ever done against me

Helen, I have lots of laffs with my adult peers and I can assure you that we never break down into imitating children. We simply have fun being adults? Sheeesh? Is that so hard for you to understand?
As for your other stuff about Tony Blair etc.... I am simply gobsmacked that in 7 whole weeks this crew in general, and Jonny in 'particlear' seems to be completely unable to have an intelligent adult conversation. I know that there are many adults like that who simply cannot sustain any conversation in which sex and mention of organs is not intrinsic, but if I were incarcerated with ppl for 7 weeks, some adult, thinking conversation and discussion would be vital. Or what's the point of being human? To that extent Jonny is what he clearly is, a total buffoon.

Get to see USBB3 if you can, and watch the HMs actually talking to each other and having some really interesting conversations and discussions, as well as time for fun and having a good laugh. But then they selected the US HMs with something other in mind to watch than a houseful of unintelligent ppl in conflict and getting drunk most nights, and tasks under challenging for 10 year olds.
