1 definition of an adult - someone who has reached the age of legal majority or a fully grown person or plant....Why do you have to act your age when in a controlled and sometimes boring environment, wouldn't that just be boring? and as for the Euro chat i personally think Kate was trying to prove she isn't just pretty face and what was her answer to the topical question, also just for your information i couldnt care less whether we have the euro or not, just doesn't make interesting conversation with my peers, maybe in an evening with tony blair it would but i dont know anyone who isnt trying to be something they are not or in different social circles who has a serious conversation about that.
”

for what it's worth I think the euro is an interesting subject of converstation... I have had many chat with my husband about it at different points in time (one to one conversation, so no I wasnt trying to be someone I am not)... I think it is very sad that people our age (am 27 as well) would find it a boring subject... that is why politicians get away with so much... It's not my favourite subject of conversation, but I like to be informed, and if there is to be a referendum one day I would hope that people had talked about it to a large extent before making any decision... Sorry for the rant...

Back to BB, I didnt see the incident with my own eyes, so am unwilling to discuss why Kate brought the subject up, might have been a normal progression of the conversation, might have been something in her mind at the time, se he might as you have mentionned have tried to show a different side to her personality... it would have been nice I think to see a conversation spring out of this... I know it's less entertaining, but would make a nice break from the fun and games sometimes, and would have allowed to see another layer of these peoples personnalities...

I dont think Jonny is stupid or anything for not talking about it, I sure think he is unwilling to show that side of his personality... fair enough I suppose, but it makes him less endearing in my eyes...

I have though he was dodgy from the start. All he want from BB is to be a singer and get famous.

If he win I would feel sorry for Alex. He has been picked on from the start.

Come on Alex

( wormy little impostor )
" alex has been pickied on from the start" absolute rubbish! if anyone has been picked on (and used) from day one it has been jade. and her personality has changed little despite the slaggings shes had in there. alex is supposed to be an adult and an intelligent one at that (hhhmm juries out on that one!)surely jade deserves the utmost respect for what she has had to put up with never mind what adele went through. Yes jade may have deserved some of it but she is still there, still jade...RESPECT!

Helen, I have lots of laffs with my adult peers and I can assure you that we never break down into imitating children. We simply have fun being adults? Sheeesh? Is that so hard for you to understand?
As for your other stuff about Tony Blair etc.... I am simply gobsmacked that in 7 whole weeks this crew in general, and Jonny in 'particlear' seems to be completely unable to have an intelligent adult conversation. I know that there are many adults like that who simply cannot sustain any conversation in which sex and mention of organs is not intrinsic, but if I were incarcerated with ppl for 7 weeks, some adult, thinking conversation and discussion would be vital. Or what's the point of being human? To that extent Jonny is what he clearly is, a total buffoon.

Get to see USBB3 if you can, and watch the HMs actually talking to each other and having some really interesting conversations and discussions, as well as time for fun and having a good laugh. But then they selected the US HMs with something other in mind to watch than a houseful of unintelligent ppl in conflict and getting drunk most nights, and tasks under challenging for 10 year olds.
”

Darn it, I'm leaving the whole quote in.
It says so much I agree with.

I only really ask one thing: did you mean buffoon or baboon?
It's hard to tell really.

Adults can have fun without talking about genitals all the time: or is it what the HM's think is expected of them. As to the childishness ... do you think BB chose the pathtic tasks (5-y old party stuff) after seeing the mental age of jonnykate and not wanting to overstrech them?

As for thier parties: jelly and icecream?

The US show is indeed a lot better than this crap series. First, they recruited adults. Secondly, they had fun. Being a child and fun are not the same thing - unless you are uncomfortable with being grown up.
