The remaining two couples battling it out with a freestyle and then the winners are crowned as overlords of the SCD world.

In an ideal world, I would have loved to have seen a Bill and Karen freestyle! After seeing John O'Hurley's "sitcom" freestyle dance in Dancing with the Stars (USA version of SCD for the less informed), I can only dream of the entertainment potential in that!

Colin just has to be the winner...anyone else winning would be a travesty and i would find myself wondering about racism amongst the voters if he doesn't

I should think the act that Colin has gone through the series without ever being in the bottom 2 couples is a pretty good indicator that he enjoys support from a wide spectrum of the public.
Additionally, there has been nothing in any of the posts, on this forum; even the most anti-Colin & Erin, to indicate anything of that nature. |

I don't think race comes into it at all....at least not with anyone on here if that is anything to go by. If he doesn't win will people say it is because he is black then...as I think that is an insult to Colin and to the other contestants? I never even think of things like that.

Alot of people would vote others such as Darren as people also vote for who they think has made the most improvement from the beginning of the series. Colin is good I agree, but he has been good since the start and not shown a great deal of improvement week after week.

oops..can of worms
i only mentioned it because last year my girlfriend reckoned denise was losing out through being black...and sadly , even amongst SCD viewers , there are people who think like that..not implying that anyone voting for anyone else is bering racist..but if it's a close run thing it could be a factor |

Lomographer, I see you qualified what you said by referring to Denise losing last year. I also see your reason for raising it. Still, racism in SCD has never even entered my head and it has quite astonished me. I hope - and would like to believe - that the number of people who vote using the race card is so insignificant that it wouldn't make any difference to the overall score. Personally, the first thing that comes to my mind with Colin is that he's Welsh. That's it, I'm decided. I'm not voting for him because he's from Cardiff!

Tell you what Lom, it's rare you see anyone look as good in the frocks as Denise - she was knockout!
