When Kate finds about about that "rat" Jonny?
Indo

I wonder what Kate's reaction will be when her Guru in the house Jonny is exposed for nominating Spencer in the vote that sent him to defeat against Alex. The very person she seems so clinged to now is the same person that ended up getting the person she favoured most out of the house. Yet more of the way Jonny operates. I wish the Hms could see how 2 faced and shallow Jonny really is.

And Spencer nominated Jonny that week. Spencer also nominated Alison.

To quote Anna from BB1 : "Although I may talk and get on with Darren out here in the house, in the Diary Room I can still nominate him, that is the game."

Please try and keep the ranting down to a dull roar.

I'd imagine Kate will be more upset when she finds out exactly what Alex, Sandy, Adele and Tim have said about her - I think she is mature enough to accept peoples' nominations. Kate knew and accepted hm's would have prefered her to go and PJ to stay and she said she understood why........what she didn't do is go into a Biiiiig Sulk! - she's getting on with it and NOT holding grudges. I wish certain hm's could do the same but the evidence proves they just can't!

Well, I think she wont really care at all. anyway spencer nominated jonny, so there isnt a problem really.

What happens once she's out of the house is all that matters

who nominated who doesnt matter, if she/ they want to start up a relationship then surely outside the house is a more natural situation anyway

true... it seemed to be a mutual nomination fan club going between Spencer and Jonny. Wise Spencer could see him for the *sshole Jonny is, and Jonny probably knew it, so Spencer had to go...

Well we have already seen her reaction tonight - she already knew about it and it doesn't bother her one bit. Just goes to show she doesn't hold a grudge unlike certain other people in the house although I wouldn't blame her for reacting badly to the comments made by Sandy, Tim and Alex.

Before the arguement, I wondered the same as you.

Then found out that Kate didn't mind.

Then UNBELIEVABLY, this came out, it'll probably not get noticed because the arguement overshadowed everything.

She told Jonny that she likes Alex, and that she wasn't that keen on Spencer because he treated her like s**t.

Wow, maybe those psychologists were onto something after all.

Maybe I saw a different part of the conversation but what I saw from Kate was...

"I liked Spencer, I fancied him, I thought he was fit - be he was like that with me sometimes - Really nice and then shitty - people in here said he definitely likes you, but I was never sure"

It was something like that. Certainly I remember her saying "I liked him, I fancied him" - Which she has said ever since he left. So she definitely fancied him - and to bake him a cake and sing Happy Birthday for him on saturday - clearly she liked him.

She's also said on numerous occasions since spencer left she likes him and wants to see him again. The only others shes said she wants to see are Jonny, Alison and PJ.

I could be wrong but I think that Kate's strategy has always been to do the rounds with the guys. No harm in that and I dont mean to be offensive. She is the most attractive HM and is right to play to her strengths.

She has always attached herself to whichever guy she believes can do most to keep her in the House. Sometimes two at the same time if it served her purpose.

In this respect Jonny's vote for Spanky wont really concern her cos Spanky isnt in the House to help her strategy.

Mebbe a bit cynical but thats the way I see it.

I agree and Alex did it to the girls too. simply, the strongest players in the game. Everyone forgets its a game

But from what I've seen since she genuinely liked Spencer and I believe that she will meet up with him, PJ, Alison and jonny again and have a laugh. In a very serious chat with Alex she stated she only fancied Spencer in that house - didn't have to say this, said it herself, without Alex ever even mentioning Spencer.

That psychologist said what you've said on Ri:se apparently - Perhaps we should wait and see what happens when she comes out first - where as with Adele and Jade - it's plain to see what they did. I just remember from the first week it was Jonny, PJ, Spencer, Alison and Kate (before Jade joined in) who would stay up late and chat... She's stuck with all of the remaining people from that clique - Jonny - Who without a doubt she is genuinely close to now and was weeks back infact.

I may have not got the actual words correct as I've been going by what was reported to me as it happened in the other thread.

But the point is, that the jist of it is the same. I think many people here thought that Kate's feelings were a little stronger as they now turn out to be.

She's said before that she would go for P.J. if she'd met him in a club.
She's told a couple of the girls that she thinks Jonny is fanciable.
But, yes she fancies Spencer more,.....but not as much as I thought she did.

Her playing around with Alex comes very naturally to both of them, she's a free agent, so nothing would surprise me during the following week.

I'm not saying that she'll fall head over heels for Alex, but at least the next week could be interesting.

Alex, get that van started.

Okay, but she did actually say to Alex in a serious chat the only person she fancied was Spencer. She did tonight say he did at times treat her like shit, but before saying that, she made the point that she did like him and thought he was really fit and certainly wasn't being negative about him.

I don't think Spencer and Kate ever developed strong feelings for one another, as it's impossible to do that in 4 weeks in that enviroment, but I always thought that they were on the verge of it when he left (her anyway). There were intimate moments between them in that week which were never shown - Spencer stretching his arm out to stroke her hair, her stroking his arm for about 30 minutes, and then holding his hand, falling asleep. And I still think Spencer gave himself away with her that night he got pissed off she was talking to Jonny about something important and not him - he continued wanting to know the next night as well. I thought that was interesting.

As for her playing around with Alex - tonight it was a complete act, and she said to Jonny that she wanted to see how much he enjoyed himself if she sat near him, and flirted with him - mentioning every move she made with him - she was right - Alex loved every second of it, and is indeed a bit of an attention seeker. What I don't think she realises, is that actually he may well really want her....

Alex to Tim later "that was the Kate I knew on the poor side tonight: sweet, funny, sexy - a girl I'd like to kiss" (should point out - its the same girl that he's seen for 2 weeks - its just she paid him some attention)

However, she said a few nights ago that she could never go for Alex because of his views on things like peeing in the shower, and just the way he is, his voice etc...

Another point to make is when Alex said that, that was the Kate he saw on the poor side and the one he really liked - this came only a couple of days after Tim had made the point that she can be lovely at times, and then tiresome at others. Interesting that Alex would put it like that about her after Tim had said that.

Back to Spence - The cake thing and the comment to Alex made me think she was still fond of him, but certainly I never thought there were great feelings there - you can't develop feelings for someone like that who was so guarded in that house - even though she probably did get to know him better than anyone along with PJ.

The night he left - A moment of weakness from Kate, where the answer to the question changed for a second from "I dont want a boyfriend right now" to "I'll see him again, and I think it will be much easier without the cameras - if he wants something more then (*pause* as though she was going to say something positive) - Oh! I don't like talking about it on camera".

Problem with this show is - the happy endings and really interesting stuff happen after the show, if they happen at all that is. We've always got Hello and OK! though

Yeah, I'm agreeing with almost everything you said.

I didn't mean to imply that she doesn't like Spencer any more, only not as much maybe as she did before.

Reason being is that she appeared really cut up when Spencer went, and some people thought she directed the blame a bit too much on Alex.
But if she had found out the DAY AFTER that Jonny's vote was one of those that evicted Spencer, I'm wondering if she'd have been okay about it as she appeared last night.

I was hearing stuff about either Kate or Alex stroking the other's hair as well if people are reporting correctly.

Like you say, who knows, I'd like to see if there's any more interaction between the two next week. Another twist to the plot maybe.

Who'd have thought that Tom and Claire from BB1 would have got married, I never saw that one coming.

RUBBISH. Jonny only nominated smelly Spencer once because he had accused Jonny of cheating in a task the week before which Jonny believed led to him being up for eviction that week. Jonny actually liked Spencer and regretted him leaving although they were never exactly best friends anyway. At the end of the day ( as Alex seems incapable of understanding) anyone is free to nominating anyone else in the house and it would only be viewed as backstabbling if you were practically best mates with the person you nominated. For example if Sandy had nominated Spencer, If Alison had nominated Jonny etc. Why does Alex have a problem with Jade choosing to nominate him instead of Kate or Jonny? The girl knows what fun is after all and does not want to end up in the house of the living dead with just Tim and Alex for company. As for Kate, she will not care about Jonny nominating Spencer especially after he allegedly told others about his "fiddling" under the covers with Kate etc. Kate would only be angry about the people who nominated Alison her best friend out of everyone in the house, including Spencer. GET ALEX OUT !!!

Correction. If Sandy had nominated Alex for example it would be seen as backstabbing and 2-faced.

But Jonny did cheat in the task?

What was Jonny's problem then: vote out anyone who speaks the truth?

To gazza and Alrightmate:- I agree with both of you - you're both putting my feelings into words. I admire your stamina in sifting through all the chaos to bring out the facts. I just sit here reading stuff and thinking "No, no, that's not how it was" but getting too confused and apathetic to wade through everything in order to try and persuade people who are probably too blinkered to care anyway. Well done chaps......keep up the good work!

And for what reason did Jonny tell Kate (or told the public in the DR) that he nominated Spencer?! Guilt?! Nooooooooo! He did it simply because he was afraid of Spencer's fan votes, and now he is trying to make sure he doesn't loose those votes. He told her :

"Can you remember when he (Spencer) was up and he was getting ready (to go) on the rich side. Me and you were out there and there were massive boos and I said 'Let's go inside.' I thought it was because the camera was on my face and it was because 'He did the deed, let's boo him.' I thought, s**t, this is the end of me, now."
