When the music comes on? I hope not - the bastards!

they dont have the performing rights on E4, but they do ON Ch 4 apparently.
Can someone who knows about these things explain exactly whats so difficult about getting the rights on E4?.
Clubs play all sorts of music, so it can;t be prohibitivley expensive.

It works out about £85 per song (over 9 seconds). It's not much worth it for the small audience on E4 when it was taking place at the same time as the full BB show on C4.
