If i copy a video onto DVD...
using a non-nicam stereo TV, the recording will still be in nicam stereo, if the VCR and DVD recorder is nicam stereo, won't it?

Yes, if you use a scart to scart connection between the vcr and the dvd recorder.

I thought so, thank you. So i don't have to run out and buy a new TV just to copy my home movies onto DVD.

as long as the tape and dvd machines are both stereo and you link them together directly with a scart cable, it will copy in stereo.
