I've got the new software installed and am not a happy bunny. I am e-mailing Humax direct with this and will post a copy of any reply that contains anything relevant about what they are doing about this problem.”
Humax have now replied to my e-mail as follows
1. Does Humax accept that the lost recordings problem exists?
We are aware of this issue.
2. Has a cause for this problem been identified and, if so, is it believed to be hardware or software related?
At the current time we believe that the problem is software related.
3. Has any way of recovering lost recordings been identified?
We have tried on an other customers PVR to recover the material but this was not possible.
4. When do you expect to provide a fix for this problem and how will it be delivered?
As yet we have not been able to recreate the problem, but we are continuing to test to see if we can recreate, then this will help us to resolve the problem. When a sllution is found it we be released as a software update (via our website and will be included in an OAD).
It did occur to me after reporting the problem that I had been through my list of recordings and also my schedule making a lot of (at least 12) deletions and new entries shortly before I switched the 9200 off. Can anyone else who has had the lost recordings problem make a similar link?
