Indeed it was BACARA and I seem to remember my dad being rather taken with them too...I think it was the sexy french accents and sultry dark looks!

I really didn't want to like "Smile" by Lily Allen...I hate nepotism and I can't stand posh kids trying to sound like pikeys.

However I have to grudgingly admit its a top little tune

I saw this thread, read it... and had to have a cheeky listen to Tradgedy - Steps

It's gotta be a bit of Rick Astley - Never give you up. LOVE THAT SONG.

I too like McFly .....

... but my real guilty pleasure is Jim Reeves...

.. I've always loved his stuff and was soooooo pleased when Thomas Cook decided to use "welcome to my world" in their holiday ad!

His voice is so beautiful!

Gotta say though - I turn the car stereo down if I am stationary at lights when I am playing him!!!!

Thank god this forum is anonymous. I must admit I love Pat and Mick's Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet and Sabrina Boys, Boys, Boys . The latter has so many memories as I was 15 when it came out and it was mine and my friends anthem that year. Well that's my excuse. Am also a bit partial to Andy Williams Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Steps Tragedy and S Club Don't stop Moving.

Liking Andy Willliams Can't Take My Eyes of You is acceptable - liking the cover version by Boys Town Gang isnt!

I had a CD on in the car this week that was a mix of stuff I like. It went from Blackstreet No Diggity, then a bit of Warren G and Nate, 50 Cent – you get the mood then up popped Kenny Rogers The Gambler?!!

My hubby does a great impression for me of the big lad from S Club 7 when he shimmies in the Dont Stop Moving video

I hereby declare myself 'unacceptable' as I love the Boys Town Gang version!

I had a friend once, gods honest truth it was a friend and not a 'friend' and he liked one particular singer but just wouldn't tell me who it was. Took about 2 months to get it out of him. Turned out to be Shakin Stevens.

I love cheesy pop and lots of the songs already mentioned, but there is a line to be drawn and I draw it at Shaky.

Wow, I have lots of "uncool" music. At the moment I'm obsessed with listening to the Dr Horrible soundtrack (both the normal one & the singing commentary one!), so that's pretty uncool, I was a big Wham! fan back in the 80's, so will still happily listen to that.

I've never worried about being cool or listening to what others do, most of my music collection is stuff released before I was born.

Alexandra Burke is my current guilty pleasure! I also don't mind singing along to Petula Clark, and rather enjoy the old Kylie and Madonna songs from the 80s and early 90s.

"I haven't stopped dancing yet" - not the Tavares original - the cover by Pat (Sharpe) and Mick....I clearly have no shame whatsoever.....

in fact i'm going through a secret micheal bolton phase at the moment which i'm highly ashamed of! ALthough I play it at home on the grounds that my housemate listens to Dolly Parton!
a classic - from the hilarious American Pie gay disco dance off scene

I don't really believe in the concept of guilty pleasures cos I think it's fine to like whatever you want! However, mine are:

paradise by the dashboard light - meatloaf (in fact, anything by Meatloaf)
who do you think you are - spice girls
don't stop moving - s club
keep on moving - 5ive
baby one more time - britters
the boy does nothing - alesha dixon (I KNOW)
mandy, copacobana - barry manilow (again, anything by him really)
the whole of the Jazz Singer soundtrack by Neil Diamond
