Or perhaps I should ask did anyone not get a failed epg download? Over on the Fusion forum we're all noticing the fact that all of our boxes got stuck last night with "EPG" in the display, and (after a reboot) no 14th day in our guide... I know the Thomson doesn't have a display to get stuck, but anyone get funny lights this morning and/or a missing day in their calendar? Just curious whether the problem only affected the Fusion, or all 4TV boxes.

My Thomson was working fine this am. Didn't check whether it had the full 14 days or not though.

Odd - ah well, all back to normal this morning. Obviously just a non-Fusion Friendly blip.

I checked last night and my Thomson had only 13 days of EPG, but otherwise all was OK. If I hadn't seen this thread I probably would never have noticed.

Aha - so presumably something went wrong with the epg update for everybody, but only the Fusion's failed to recover from it, for whatever reason.

the EPG on my DHD4000 has stopped at 21st December - so has now missed 3 updates . Has anyone else got this problem?

My box is tuned to Hannington how about others that have missed?

Have heard that some of the channels have moved around so have done a hard reset (power cycle) and done a channel rescan. Fingers crossed tonight...

Same here. I've not had an update for 3 days and am stuck on the 21st December (Sutton Coldfield TX BTW).

Just checked and the EPG is now up to 25th December - yippeeee!!!

Now was it the rescan or the power cycle - hmmmmm??

I've not made any changes and I forgot to check my guide.

However a re-scan is bad news, since you have to re-setup all you favourites (not a major issue) and your complete record list (a big pain!).

Update from the Fusion camp - after locking up on Friday morning, everything was fine Saturday, but then it locked up again on Sunday (again with just 13 days in the guide). This (Monday) morning, everything back to normal again.

Interestingly, only Fusion's on the latest 1.7.5 software version have been locking up in this way - many boxes are still on older software, and they've behaved the same as the Thomson's by just falling behind with their guides.

Mine still stuck at the 21st - I'll give it a couple of days more see if it sorts itself out.

Mine goes up the 26th. Never noticed any problem with updates.
A friend of mine also has a DHD4000 and his EPG sometimes gets down to 4 days - I think he has an iffy aerial connection even though he gets no interference on sound or picture.

Mine updated overnight and now has info upto the 26th.

Not 100% sure whether it was the involuntary power cycle (as I switched the wrong four way late last night by accident) which actually fixed it or not?

Mine just had less than 14 days in it's EPG. I wouldn't have noticed had I not read this forum.
