gazza71, Its not just a game, though, is it - the HMs have been in there for 8 weeks 24/7, this is their life at the moment and what happens in the House will probably affect their life outside the House for sometime afterwards. How can you blame people for getting upset. Alex definitely did not deal with this very well but I guess, for him, it is all too much. It seems to have brought up all his bad memories of his bullying at school. As he has said he is not happy in the House (to him its not just about winning the money) and doesn't know whether to go or stay. How can it be a game when peoples' heads are getting messed up - Jades as well as Alexs. Once again, I know he didn't handle it very well, but I suppose as an only child he may not be used to having arguments with other people - as one of four my kids are experts!! Also, when you keep bottling up your feelings, when they finally do come out it is much worse. It would have been better if he could have confronted Jade earlier and had it out with her but I suppose it could be impossible to do that as Jade doesn't seem to see the world the same as everyone else and doesn't seem to remember what she said 5 minutes ago.
I for one, think BB is going too far this year. They have put "needy" contestants in the House and have deliberately stirred up tensions with the divide and so much booze etc. I bet they are rubbing their hands with glee! "On what great ratings we are going to get" Sod the poor HMs who have to provide all this entertainment for the not large enough sum of £70K. Shame on BB! - They won't want to lose Alex now will they, or Jade (but maybe it would be in Alex and Jade's best interests to go.
Sorry, got carried away - although tonight's BB has been classic, what with Tim and then the row, but it has still left me with a bitter taste". I know I don't have to watch and the HMs don't have to be there but some of them are obviously suffering and I, for one, feel sorry for that.
