If James goes to final, who is out tonight ?

If James were to get enough public votes to go through to next week's final, who is likely to go tonight ?

I feel that Zoe, Darren and Colin all deserve a final place. Yes James has worked hard but he is not as good as the other three, please let's have a final with the best dancers in. Someone has to go tonight, I just hope that the best dancers on the night go through.

If I had a crystal ball to answer that one I'd be down the betting shop.

Bravo, well said my dear chum!!!
If James goes through it will be a DIASTER!!!!!

I like to apply a little rule in this situation: from past experience, I can tell you that my favourite always seems to go out in the semis. Ergo, if it isn't James and Camilla, it's Darren and Lilia.

Here's hoping I'm wrong! Although, to be honest, I'd rather that no-one go. However, that doesn't seem to be an option...

If James gets another tongue lashing from the judges, I'd say it's Zoe and Ian who are likely to go.

If the judges are reasonably kind to James, then I think he and Zoe will be in the drop zone, but I wouldn't like to guess which will go.

I would love James to go through, but because I want to be fair then he has to go. If it wasn't him and I was voting on who I like, it would be Colin out, I've said it before I really don't like him. But Ian gets my vote tonight, because I want to see a really good final James needs to go, I thought he should have gone last week, or at least Anton should have stayed.

Unless Zoe finishes top with the judges there is every likelihood it will be her as it appears not only on last weeks public vote but previous ones as well that she is not the public's choice.

The judges are only too well aware of this and will probably ensure she finishes top with them tonight in order to get the final they want.

I agree but I think we had better be prepared for the worst to happen if this forum is anything to go by - I think the least informed fluffy people have had their fingers on redial since last night.

Yeah but I do think they are great, and I think it's unfair that the really good ones don't go on. I love James and all but I'd rather have a really top class final.

If things had gone differently then I would have loved to see the people who made the most improvement and Fiona should have stayed because she was getting better and better.

Seymour, is it really nescessary to call those who are engaging in a backlash vote 'least informed' and 'fluffy'?

If the judges opinion is all that counts then their mark should make up 75% of the final score. That isn't the case.

Also got a feeling (no more no less) that Zoe will be in danger tonight. Despite all the (illegitimate) efforts the Judges will make to avoid it
If James & Camilla dance great on the night then they do deserve a place in the Final. That's fair and people who want to vote for them shouldn't be made to feel as if they would embark on some mortal crime in doing so.
It's just making right what the crooked judges didn't

I have a feeling that it will be James and Camilla voted out tonight. With the top three to fight it out between themselves. It could be a close finish.

Well CM I can't pretend to think that people are voting for James for his dancing, they are voting for him because of that nasty Arlene and because they romanticize about J&C - are they aren't they together. He should have gone before Anton or Bill imho - now in a fluffy world all things are possible so I say again if the power of the fluffy people work - James could win this contest.

They are voting as a backlash, they have no real other way of expressing their dissaproval and I think if you really are annoyed, that is a pretty pointed way of making it clear.

I still don't see why that makes them 'fluffy'. Some of the most vocal FMs are those that are switching their vote in protest - how can that be about the romance?

I can understand you wanting to make a few digs at those campers that want to believe in a James and Camilla romance ( I don't see any spark between those two since the "puppeteering" dance ) but I think you are misjudging a good percentage of those who are engaging in the protest vote.

I'm not voting at all, because I am just watching it for entertainment, but I can understand and respect those that hold such a strong opinion as to vote with their wallet.

Look I don't think anyone really cares, people have their favourites and they will vote for their favourites. Some change their mind or vote for more then one person, it doesn't matter. I believe that it should be the best couple in the final, and I think everyone's blown James and Camilla's relationship out of proportion because they want to. Look at some of the other couples, Fiona went out the one week she wasn't at the bottom. People like the underdog, I don't think a lot of Jame's fans voted because he might be with Camilla, I think they voted because people fancy him and he does do well sometimes. Vote for who you want in the final, it's not their fault others want to vote because they fancy someone, or because their the underdogs.

Unfortunately Darren seems to think it is him, don't let this happen!!!!! Well unless he actually is the worst on the night

Darren Gough is expecting to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing tonight.

The cricket star believes that he won't make the show's final, while producers are tipping chef James Martin to go through to next week.

"Darren is determined to turn in the performances of his life," an insider told the Daily Star. "But James has thousands of middle-aged female fans and they are voting in their droves. And Darren may not be able to muster enough votes from the public."

Or that could be a double bluff to release a story just in time to shortcircuit the C+J vote and get all the votes for himself! These devious celebs, its almost as machieavellian as a general election campaign!

I don't think it would be Darren it would more then likely be Zoe.

But not if she can release a story like Darrens to rally her vote!

Kaos

That would be true, but I know a lot of people don't like her, and what with the big cricket fanbase I'd find it hard to believe that Darren wouldn't go through.

I'm very worried it may be Colin Zoe may well get extra votes tonight because she was in the bottom two last week and her fans are worried she will go home, Darren and Lilia seem popular, they have never been in the bottom despite not being top every week, that leaves Colin, who danced so well last week I just hope James go, nice guy, great couple but not good enough for a place in the final

Probably as it should be unless James puts in a sterling performance in both dances then he derserves to stay. My fear is that we will end up with a re-run of last year where Aled and Lilia went out and Julian and Erin stayed even though Julian's was the weakest performance..........

poor Lilia if that happens to her again

I think the public vote will decide.
If James doesn't fall over tonight, I think he'll have so much of the public vote he will go through.
Whoever are in the last two and it includes James and Camilla I think it likely the others will go out as "In the event of a "tie" the public vote is the decider".

From a PR point of view, James has done it "all right" and Zoe "all wrong!"

Err..and who's the professional broadcaster?
