A plea to voters for the semi final.....
miaviv
10-12-2005
Please, please vote for the best on the night and for the couple that deserves to go through to the final.

I'm not dictating, but voting on sympathy, because you fancy a contestant or because you want to get up the judges' noses isn't really the way to go at this stage is it ? Let's get the best dancers through to next week and give us the thrilling, exciting and unpredictable final that we would love for this third series.

I agree, we'll only complain if the final has the most shocking dances ever.

Why having the public voting at all then?

"The best dancers" is subjective. At this stage I believe people watching want to see entertaining performances ( I think ). If all the people vote the way you see it then it no longer is "exciting and unpredictable", they might as well just ring up miaviv on the night and treat you as the public representative yeah?

People always have different reasons to vote, so live and let live - its their money they are spending, after all.

It is all in the name of charity don't forget!

But it would be nice to have the best dancers in the final, to make a cracking show for next week! (can't believe it's nearly finished )

As long as people vote for SOMEONE, isn't that all that matters - someone could be the worst dancer tonight and get twice as many votes out of sympathy as the best dancer, and the show has done it's job - raised as much money as possible for a very worthwhile charity.

They are probably trying to incite sympathy as they know that leads to more voting from the public.

I as many of my friends and family will be voting as many times as I can for James and Camilla. He's not a performer, athlete etc nor has he any stage or acting experience and in my opinion he deserves to go through to the Final. He couldn't dance at all when he started and he's come such a long way (as has Darren). If the Judges kept a truly professional head then there wouldn't be any panic to stop sympathy voting at this stage. Sympathy or not James deserves to go through and there are thousands of us who will try and see that he does.

I second that statement Superfan

James & Camilla in the FINAL

I think that although James has improved an awful lot that he is still the weakest of the four left so if he doesn't perform well tonight then he shouldn't be in the final just because people feel sorry for him!!!!!!!!

I don't feel sorry for him. I think he's made the best improvement from nothing and my votes will be going that way. Arlene didn't help matters with her comment last night either so a few of my votes will reflect those comments and I'm not worried about admitting it.

I don't feel sorry for him at all - i think he would be the one who going out would affect the least, as he has probably learnt and improved the most and taken the most from it - hence my votes!

He he Annie, Children in Need has had a good slice of my dosh in various forms, so the charity bit is now secondary for me.

I'll be voting purely on what I see tonight - and I've decided to place three votes, one for each couple I want to see go through to the final.

I just hope that this evening's viewer vote does not result in another fiasco of a final in the first series. The way that all the female fans of Chris Parker kept this guy in the show was a really stupid thing. Spoilt the final for millions of people. Okay, I know it's for CIN but it still rankles with me.

That's what was planning to do, but I'm a bit worried as it seems to me Zoe is gauranteed to the final, unless the public vote is total reverse of the judges' score, which is not very likely to happen.

The judges are so disgraceful!

I'm not voting for the best on the night, but I'm not voting for the worst either. I'm voting for Darren and Lilia because the dress thing was not their fault and it would be so unfair if they went because of that.

Yeah me too. I put in one vote after the ballroom stuff for the couple I thought did the best and then another after the latin for the couple I think did best in that. At this stage in the comp I think that is the fairest way to vote (well for me anyway).

I appreciate that others may have different ways of voting and it's all good in the end because as has been said already the money is going to a good cause, and who are we to critise anyone else for their reasons for voting.

The only person this year who would have looked like CHris Parker in the final was Fiona & Brendan.. all the other celebrities were fab this year!

I voted for Darren and Lilia because of her dress also, and he did really well alone, and I've beemn supporting them throughout, they deserve a place in the final the most, IMHO

Darren and Lilia do deserve a place in thefinal. But they have been giving Zoe high marks just because she is tall and overlooking all her errors.....and she talks too much. For gods sake given Ian a chance to speak!

I in no way meant to infer that James was as bad as Chris Parker, but that it always seems unfair that the least able dancer scrapes through via a huge fan base.

I am pleased that the result of the 2million votes came out in the fairest way tonight. We are now in for a super duper final.
