Strictly Nonplussed

I have to say I am completely nonplussed by the pompous know-all brigade who are stating "Lets have the final we deserve" and insisting James doesn't have any right to be there.

The semi-final dances have not yet taken place. How do they know that one of the other 3 dancers is not going to have an off-night or that James is not going to amaze everyone with an improved performance.

No-one knows yet (apart from Arlene.)

According to two of the top ballroom dancers in the world (Brendan and Anton) James is not actually as bad as some prejudiced judges would have you believe anyway.

If you follow their logic then why bother with earlier rounds in the FA Cup. Everyone knows Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool are the best so why run the risk of one of them losing - lets have the final we deserve.

And as for Wimbledon why bother at all ? Everyone knows Federers the best. Force him to play some early round matches and he might just lose - we wouldn't have the champion we deserve.

Lets also stop all golf tournaments. Anyone other than Tiger Woods winning would mean an undeserving winner.

Thats why I don't vote until after they have danced, but going by past performances James is the weakest link...

I'm keeping an open mind about James too, but I still don't expect him to dance as well as the others (unfortunately, I don't expect the judges' comments and marks to be fair either [I think James has had too many undeserved 6's or worse])

James DOESN'T deserve his semi-final place. And for me at least the other three will really have to dance pretty awful and James have to perform the dance of his life to justify a place in the final.
The sporting analogy doesn't really apply as we those competitions come down to talent and not having a bigger fanbase than any one else
