Darren expects to leave 'Dancing' tonight

Darren Gough is expecting to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing tonight.

The cricket star believes that he won't make the show's final, while producers are tipping chef James Martin to go through to next week.

"Darren is determined to turn in the performances of his life," an insider told the Daily Star. "But James has thousands of middle-aged female fans and they are voting in their droves. And Darren may not be able to muster enough votes from the public."

If Darren really said that I wouldn't worry. If anyone is vulnerable to the Sympathy vote it's Zoe and Ian/Colin and Erin

I think he has be an excellent competitor, never really moaned about anyone and has really taken the ethos of the show and gone for it

Darren really deserves to be in the final

He doesn't ask for the viewers vote as much as the others either. Will be hard for him tonight after the 2nd marks.

He is probably in 3rd place = threatened.

If Colin is beaten by both boys and James comes top with the public Zoe will go unless she picks up places in the public vote.

Otherwise the most likely result is that whichever of James and Darren gets most votes stays. if Colin stays top of the boys and Zoe doesn't improve her public vote - one will get 5 votes total and one will have 3 or both will get 4 and the one with most public votes will stay.

If Zoe is in the final 2 she stays because the person with her will have 3 votes. if its a 4 way tie she probably goes.

For me, Darren is the one out of the four that I would mind the least if he went.

How could you say that - Darren is the greatest. Zoe is the one we want rid of.

I don't want anyone to go, but Darren just HAS to stay. I think I'd do a LIlia and cry for 3 hours solid, and for the rets of the week in dribs and drabs

Well that sorts out the final result.

Darren is either top of the public poll or second behind Colin.

Zoe must have been last in the public poll.

Whichever of Darren or Colin was ahead tonight almost certainly wins unless a lot more people tune in.

I think they will really pull it out of the bag and will definately make it to the top two - i'm going to find it really hard voting next saturday as I love both Colin and Daz what I did tonight was vote for each dance ie best in ballroom then best in latin it was the only way I could do it fairly will do the same next week

Great stuff. I personally would love to see Colin/Erin and Darren/Lilia as the final two couples - with Darren to win! He's done so much for dance; turned the attitude of his all his mates and other males right round. His whole attitude towards this competition has been upbeat, uncomplaining, he's consistently improved, loves to dance now and....by 'eck, he's a fine-looking lad, int 'e???
