I agree. She is frequently thinking about (which comes out through discussion), watching and dreaming about him!

She told him a dream she had about him, in which they were ball room dancing and he trips her up and starts licking her stomach.

She fancies him but does not want to admit it otherwise she will come over as being two faced because she has been flirting with Spenser, denying to everyone - that has asked - that she fancies him.

She is well aware of what people have been saying about her, that she is a flirt and has been working her way around the lads. Alex told her, so she is probably trying to save face now.

If Kate doesnt draw away from Jonny a little this week I think she will live to regret it.

She is not showing her best side in that relationship.

She shines when she gets close to Alex as he does when near to her.

If only they had a little space from Jonny for a while - couldnt they get him sloshed out of his head, gag him and put him in with the chickens for a couple of hours.

Jade being the nursey type could rescue him after a while and Jonny would see that his true love is Jade after all.

Sorry but I'm not a romantic, I think they're all more in love with the 70k at the moment. Hence, the best strategy for Kate at the moment would be to play Jonny off against Alex. That way they both end looking bad while Kate can take her usual role of unblemished innocent. Jade relegated to role unenvious role of wallflower to Kate's femme fatale.

I have to say I don't see how Kate and Alex bring out the best in each other. And blaming Jonny for their lack of proximity isn't quite right either. From what I remember, Kate and Spencer got plenty of time away from Jonny and the two men weren't even the best of friends at one point. I think Alex does fancy Kate but to be honest I don't thinks she fancies him, at least not anymore.

I can well understand her pulling back on the flirting a bit but she's heard things over the wall about that for weeks now and it didn't seem to stop her fawning all over Spencer. I think it would take a little bit more than crowd disapproval to keep Kate away if she really liked Alex. In my mind, she's uncomfortable with the kind of man Alex. But then again, they still have one more week to go so I may be proven wrong.

I think Jonny is more aware of the power of a love story on the public's vote. The Kate/Alex will she won't she thing would absolutely demolish any chance he has of the 70K, should it get going.

Can see where you are coming from, but no I don't believe that is true. I do believe the way he portrays himself is probably opposite to the real person. Insecure and lacking confidence at heart.

You're obviously new here. Jonny gets the blame for everything, and I mean everything. Apollo 13, Cuban Missile Crisis, Irish Potato Famine you name it. Jonnys fault.

Judging by last nights clips Alex and Tim is a more likely match.

I have noticed a lot of body language between Alex and Kate. What she says doesn't represent what we see.

1) Whenever they are all chatting together Kate makes a bee line for Alex's seat.

2) The are both often caught by the cameras looking at each other.

3) When making contect with each other its always quite sensual unlike when Kate is with Jonny

4) Kate will always pick Alex for anything that is intimate pushing Jonny away (i.e. follow the van, massage etc)

5) Dancing on the seventies night with Alex was a sensual affair but with Jonny it was joke dancing.

6) They have both in the past admitted to fancying each other

I think that Kate hides her feelings as Jonny dislikes Alex so much and she doesn't want to upset her friend. If Jonny wasn't in the picture always rushing in to break them up we would have been watching a very different scenario especially now after 8 weeks when they all admit to sexual frustration.

Could well be right - don't think there is much chance now though. When they come out Spencer and Adele will appear and any flame between Kate and Alex given no chance to flourish. However I bet they will think of each other more than they will ever admit.

So that's how the Potato Famine started. I wont lose any more sleep wondering now.
