I just felt so embarrassed for her!! Darren did so well and she will be so upset if they don't make it to the final because she will think it's her fault. Keep voting everyone 0901 121 4001!!!!!
Don't let her or me cry again!!! Please?

Same with me. So unfair, why in the semi, she deserves the final more than any of the other Pros left, IMO, please, pelase, please vote.

That's not very nice now is it, she's just saying how she feels.

Gawd, these boards are getting worse and worse

she should be voting out Zoe - not spending her time crying.

(Lol, sorry, can't help but laugh) It was upsetting to see Lilia lookign so upset and so defeated though.

Quite agree - especially after last year when Aled and Lillia got voted out when they should have stayed in.

Well...(heaves a sigh of huge relief)...at least they are through to the final - and they truly deserve to be there. Can they make it all the way, though...??

By my criteria, yes they can & deserve to. (Others are free to disagree.)

Methinks Darren and Lilia may win it!!!

REALLY, REALLY hope so!!! The fact that Zoe has been in the bottom 2 two weeks in a row, could that mean that she'll go out next week, leaving Darren and Colin head-to-head?? (Don't know why, but I realise that I seem to be seeking assurance re Darren's potential to win...) I'm obsessed with this show.... part of me will be glad when it's over so that I can return to some kind of normality...

Someone has done an analysis of the judgesublic voting. I can't make heads nor tails of it, but the likelihood is that Darren & Lilia got the most public support.

However, this is no reason to feel complacent, as James' voters are now floating & we can't be sure that this analysis is correct.

Hmmm....true...James' floating voters could become supporters for Zoe....or Darren.... or Colin. This is crazy!! Last year, I was mad about Jill and Darren - loved their performances so much, loved their personalites, wanted them to win so badly - and they did!! As they were the most consistently popular couple, I had no real fears for them, but this year, it really could go either of three ways. We just don't know!!

That's why SCD is such a success. The fans can both admire the dancing & become attached to their favourite couple. Plus the fact that we, the GBP, feel we have the ultimate say in who is the overall winner.

I'd truly love for Darren & Lilia to win it; simply because, as a non-typical ballroom dancer, they have acheived so much & shown that the activity can be so much fun, but only time & the votes of the public will tell.

Therefore, all of their supporters need to keep the BBC voting lines cnstantly engaged with attempts to vote &, if you don't get through, just keep trying 0901 1214001.

Bless her, she looked like she was going to cry!! I'm so glad they're through!! They have to go all the way!!!

I think that she actually did cry, just as the cameras cut away to Bruce introducing Zoe & Ian's lamentable paso doble.

My heart really went out to her at that point & I only really recovered when I started jumping round the room in delight upon the announcement that they had avoinded being in the bottom 2 couples.

Aww, i didn't notice that!! I'll have to watch back. Little Darren better have been backstage looking after her!!!

They didn't show him, but Goughie did his best, under the circumstances (shown himself to be the perfect gentleman on several occaisions throughout the series: Notice how all he seemed worried about tonight was not letting Lilia down & having her miss out on the final through his mistakes?).

I think Darren B. would have been on hand if needed, but that he just couldn't appear on camera; besides the wardrobe crewwould have been on task before he could have got to her &, no doubt, have kept him away. (Lovely thought though.)

I didn't mean on camera, I meant between the shows. He was there, in the audience!
GlenP
11-12-2005
Chances are, yes, he was. They've shown him there, in backstage footage, every other week, offering his support to them. They've become good friends apparently (he even reads the thread on D + L's website forum, nice touch BTW) & I think getting Darren there, once Lilia started to cry would have been one of Goughie's primary concerns; as I say he's a real gentleman in that respect.

Plus he fact that Darren B. (confusing aint it?) & Lilia, obviously, love each other so much would have ensured that he was off his seeat & round the back A.S..A.P.

They put Darren G with Lilia on purpose to confuse us, I swear!! But I'm so glad they did!!

Talking about random pros being in the audience. I really want to know what Brendan said after Camilla & James' foxtrot!!!

When the judges were pulling foxtrot apart brendan shouted rubbish at one of their comments and camilla thanked him "a fellow professional" for support, the camera went to roger black at first they must have thought he had spoken then went to Brendan

Aww, bless him! He was really lovely on ITT on thursday. I think it's sweet how he and Camilla still have a good relationship despite everything.

I know he seems to have gone really out of his way to support her this year and Anton as well I have seen a different side to Brendan this year - yes he is arrogant but have seen a softer side that has warmed me to him
GlenP

It is & I think, from reliable reports, that Goughie, Lilia & Darren B. will retain the same sort of relationship as the "Bennetts" retained with Jill Halfpenny after SCD2.
