thms, you could probably be right there.
The reason why I think you could be right is because every single week the judges have banged on about how amazing J.S., Brenda, and Shayne are....every single week.
So the public (who watch and vote) must think "What? All 3 acts are so fantastically amazing
every week?"
Maybe this makes the public get a feeling that something doesn't feel right, or that the final will be extremely boring if the judges are just going to say that those 3 acts are so incredible.
It was getting to be every single week where Simon would predictably compose himself and utter the same old thing to Brenda "That was the best performance in the competition so far".
And J.S. and Shayne have had similar gushing compliments every single week about them having The X Factor or something.
It just doesn't feel right. It's unrealistic. There must surely have been something to criticise, because nobody is perfect. But the judges would have us believe that they are.
So maybe there is something that just doesn't sit right and the public are just not having any more of it.
Wheras Andy was the one out of the four who has actually had some criticism and has had a less easy ride.
Maybe the public just aren't buying it any more and are just plain sick and tired of the judges gushing over the other three acts.
Andy is the one out of the four who has survived a few weeks of mixed comments by the judges...and yet still manages to survive.
I wonder how well Shayne and J.S. would do if they had also had less praise heaped onto them and got more criticism from the judges over the course of a few weeks.
