It's true. A forum without a Boho is like a martini without the olive- it's still technically a martini, but it's just not special any more...

Apologies for the bad metaphor, but I hope you get my point. You're a sweetie: don't leave us!

Bless you guys..had to come on to say..I didn't mean vote for 'ME'...rather vote for CIN and the show.

I have had enough. Two or three weeks now this has gone on..and this was just trying to be a nice thread...I was trying to not cause trouble..and have left off posting the last few days due to stuff said on here...and yet so many 'veiled posts' turn up about me and others who are too pink and fluffy for the people who don't like it.

If it was me...I just would avoid the threads I didn't like...and stick to the threads I did.

But it seems that cannot happen..and I so wanted this to be a nice thread for happy to read tomorrow after her exams....whether we were 'deluded' or not. I hate the fact that she will now read it and worry.

Too many sleepless nights worrying about this to count (which I am sure will be rained upon by people who think I am way too sensitive...which I am)...and people who say we are entitled to free speech...which we are....but it works both ways.

Sorry peeps..I love this forum SSSSOOOOOOO much.

But I can't deal with worrying what I post every five minutes...so keep voting (I hope for darren!) and good luck all of you.

May I direct anyone who has not read it ...to Crystal tips ode......?

And this is not auvoir (as Bendy mixer said they were going to do on here) .......

But

Merely

Bonjour.

I'm sorry... but who cares whether that was tune was picked deliberately or not... it's just wonderful that "Happyfeet" was played on SCD after the discussions we've had and the lovely 'happyfeet' - coincidence or deliberate it was a lovely exciting moment for us to be able to think about OUR 'happyfeet'.
It certainly gave me happyfeet thinking about it

Boho, have posted about this on another thread for you, but putting it here and hoping either you will see it, or someone will alert you.

Your fame has spread to other DS forums, take a look at this!

Boho, I have posted this on its own thread but thought I'd also put it here, hopefully you will see it, or someone else will alert you to it.

No matter what anyone says The Lady feels in her heart that the music was definitely dedicated to you if not by Aunty Beeb then by US!!

And to have the music played and danced by such young and talented dancers was pure JOY.

Guys - I've had the most fab weekend in London shopping and gossiping with friends I have had to gut-wrenchingly forsake during the last 6 months of revision. I know who left on Saturday but did not watch the show at all. I timer recorded the whole thing and am about to settled down with a treacle pud to watch...

..but Oooooooh I can't wait to watch the kiddies dance!!!!

Bendymixer, I know it's a standard for dances, especially kiddie-dancers as when I was a little 3 year old I had these scarlet tap shoes (they're so beauteous I still have them) and did a routine to it in class - it's that, and the genius lyrics and their presence on the Strictly Ballroom film that made me choose it as my DS alias. None of us really think that anyone from the BBC had anything to do with it, I think perhaps you were missing the point slightly (but that's cool it's understandable as it's hard to detect the tone on threads sometimes)... everyone was just being lovely to me and saying that seeing the song made them smile because it reminded them of the forum and all the crazy randomness

Yes, I'm a little bashful at the (actually lovely) ego-massage that you sweet sweet people have done by saying such nice things, not just on this thread but in almost every thread I have had a decent discussion, or fabulous flight of fancy. It's been ever so tough doing exams and I'va had such support it helped me keep sane. It's my birthday on Thursday and I find out if I passed or failed my degree on Friday, and y'know, I just know that whatever happens - it will be ok The Lady Boz put it exactly right.

*hugs to you all* and Boho, I understand, I've felt a little bit down sometimes but come back and borrow some of my skin... it's thick... and come be random, just for the last week at least

This forum for a while was very full of people being light and nice to each other and less critical, then there was a reaction to that, and ever since it seems to me that there are people who really felt this to be a safe and fun place to post on the internet who now feel threatened and a bit bullied sometimes - and lo and behold - since the anti-fluffy thing started: we have a warning from the Mods - I think that speaks volumes, frankly.

Anyway, I'm off to watch my video... and boy will I enjoy it as I will be free of the stressfulk "who will stay who will go" factor

Oooooh and you'll never guess, I got a letter with an A4 signed photo of Bill and Karen sat down at the end of their Viennese Waltz (Best Wishes Bill Turnbull and Happy Dancing Karen Hardy in silver marker) and a note saying "Enjoy!! with love from the "It Takes Two" team xxx"

Isn't that AMAZING?????

Congratulations Happy on completing your exhausting round of exams but the real achievement is doing it while keeping completely up to date with SCD and maintaining a warm fuzzy presence on the forum

I'm sure we'd all love to see a scan of your thank you gift! (Hint hint) Bill and Karen and the ITT Team - aaah you're well connected now Happy

Enjoy the show and hopefully you will post us with your comments.

Missed you bees - when I saw the photo, my first thought was to decide whether to send it to you, Peach or allybee! I'm not posting on this thread anymore because it looks like my big head is using the keyboard See you on the forum It's bewitching hour - have almost finished watching my tape.

dear old happyfeet!

I'm not one for memorabilia so don't think of parting with your gift on account of a William-loving hussey like me! I will add it, in spirit, to the B&K shrine's ark of relics, seeing as it has passed through their own fair hands

And you never know... you may soon be in very close contact with one or two dancers for which you already have more than a passing interest in yourself

I was sure that I had written a posting on this thread on either Saturday night or Sunday morning, but was probably so tipsy that I didn't send it properly. Anyway - all Happyfeet's friends on here thought of her when the kids started dancing and this was a thread which was meant to be special for her, so she knows how much we appreciate her and her fun and randomness. The vast majority of postings on here show that. The two messages are:

Happy, we salute you.

Boho, come back, we love you.
