I just noticed the kid's dancing tonight..and weren't they good. I came in the sitting room from the bedroom..and just noticed the kid's dancing..well watching them actually. They never put a flaming foot wrong..they were as smooth as can be. Plus they weren't bothered about anyone watching them..unlike adults tend to be on this series.

I'm normally very picky when looking for certain faults in people..but didn't notice anything that spoilt the kid's performance's tonight. I just thought they were absolutely excellent..but then...i'm not a trained coach so...

THEY were great little dancers the juveniles (u/12's) are not allowed to wear the fancy costumes or do anything but basic steps so it is often said they do the true dancing. Is such a shame that as good as these little dancers were NOT ONE british couple made it to the junior final in Blackpool

have to say that the Lord and Lady Boz were absolutely enchanted by these young and upcoming dancers. There's a new Ian Waite coming through in the young man who danced with the gorgeous girl in yellow.

You heard it hear first.

I wandered in and saw them and said to my husband, "Look! It's The Children of The Damned!" I wonder how Bruno felt when he saw them after making that comment?

Well...if they were all relaxed enough to make mistakes..then people would have critisized them on this. Still....it's all good that people think differently though

I loved them!

It's good to see dancing is not dead in this country and there is some talent out there.

The little girl in the orange dress was my fave.

I love to see kids dance but I have one problem in that as far as I'm concerned they are children and for this reason only, I beleive that when they dance they should not be made up like adults and in Ballroom should be a little more childlike without the head tilts to the extreme.

All this tends to spoil it for me and detracts from my enjoyment of watching the dancing itself.

It's a sign of the times. Victorian children were like mini adults then children had their own clothes etc and now we're back to the Vicyorians. Even tinies dance provocatively now in their Victoria Beckham clothes. Sad.

I loved the kids too! I think they danced really well and they looked adorable! I loved the little white shoes and ankle socks. I don't think they looked like mini adults at all.

Loved 'em too. Perhaps our dance school teachers can guide us as to what was correct eg: dancing dress, shoes, dancing hold etc.

Great to see that, at least, they wont be hanging around on street corners when they are older.

Go for it li'l ones, you were great!

the present dress code (ie the full dress no revealing bits etc) was brought in to stop the youngest age groups dressing inappropriately I must admit as a teacher myself found these kids on the show danced lovely some facial expressions looked a little overdone but they were on TV and probably for the first time. I do approve of the dress code for the u/12's the full dress and the socks etc and dont think they looked like adults at all you see on the programme how the adults dress and in no way similar

dress code for the Under 12 years ie Juveniles is as the dress you saw a full skirt the top with no revealing cut outs. shoes low heal and worn with ankle socks. Boys dark trousers and black or white shirt.

Unfortunately once they are twelve there are no dress codes and sometimes feel that maybe there should be

thanks, bendymixer for the information. It would be awful if the little one descended into the realms of the US junior beauty pageants

if you saw the juveniles 15 years ago it was exactly how it was in competition now the children look like children I think if they did have heavy make up on last night was only for the tv I find nothing up with the way they were dressed

Those kids made me think of what Brenda, Anton, Darren, Camilla, Lilia looked like when they were kids. They must be really cute.

Maybe in 10, 15 years' time we'll seem them grow up as professional dancers, being interview on TV and show this clip again.

Beautiful dancing but do they have to be made up like adults? Also, some of the facial expressions had my toes curling. Do the rules state they have to pull these faces for competition?
On the other side of the coin, isn't it nice to see youngsters out from infront of a TV or computer and having fun and good exercise?

I think they are cute
I can't help but notice how the girls have their heads bent so backwards, don't they feel uncomfortable in that posture?
I don't know why I never notice that when the adult females dance the Foxtrot. (or any other ballroom dance)
