I agree, except, isn't the Tango a ballroom? I'd like to see Zoe and Ian Samba and Tango.

Well, they are the dances which'll show them off the best, if I had my way, which I won't, it'd be:

Darren and Lilia: Foxtrot and Paso Doble

Colin and Erin: Tango and Jive
Zoe and Ian: Whatever she did worst on and Jive

I'm onyl joking, I want to see the best ones.

I would love to see Colin and Erin's American Smooth again. But as this is the first series I have watched I don't know how the final works. Do they have to do a dance that they haven't done before?

In previous years, I think they had to do one latin and one ballroom, and I think they had a free choice about which particular dance.

What I'm not sure about is whether there will be any pressure for people not to choose the same dance as another couple. If memory serves, in the last 2 years they've all ended up doing different dances, so we've not had two people doing the Jive or whatever. But I would guess this year Darren and Colin (and quite possibly Zoe) would all want to do the American Smooth.

The judges/organisers might also decide they won't allow the smooth as it isn't a "proper" ballroom dance.

They will all also get to do a showdance, which is essentially "no rules, anything goes, do as many lifts as you like". Usually the highlight of the evening!
