I think it means it will always be stuck at the top of the thread list regardless of when it was posted. Usually the mods do sticky threads to remind people of the T&C's etc.

Normally, it's a thread that just stays at the top of the forum.

About two weeks or so ago.
Someone suggested it and then it just happened
My eyes took a bit of getting used to it , but I think I've recovered now

an invisible thread is obviously not invisible. i think it's generally used by some people to refer to the happy fluffy threads where some people retreat after a bashing and sometimes have a moan about it all. some people seem to think that these people think these threads almost invisible and that noone can see the moans etc. correct me if im wrong anyone but i think that's pretty much it.

Oh okay thanks. I thought I was missing out on something interesting when I saw the phrase invisible threads - like extra special spoilers.

If no-one adds new posts to a thread, it disappears off the first page and gradually moves down the order- a sticky post, which contains important info that people need to see before posting, will stay at the top even if no-one replies to it- so that new posters can see it.
