Was Anton Ambushed????

Here's one for the conspiracy theorists....Was Anton sacrificed in the Quarter final to make sure Zoe got to the final??? Was there another judge on thr grassy knoll???

It's been obvious for some time (since week one actually) that Zoe was the favourite and had to be protected at all costs.

Now, if Anton & Patsy had stayed and James had gone home, as was only right and just that would have meant that this week we would have had Anton in the bottom two with Zoe again. In that situation there would have been NO chance Zoe would have got through. Patsy could never win it but Anton has charisma and Patsy has fans! That would have been double trouble for Ian/Zoe who have neither.

Were the results manipulated to keep Zoe in??? Why are the phone votes a secret? What happened to openness, honesty and transparency in the face of the license payers??

What d'ya think??

Isn't this getting a bit silly now? Zoe's there because she's one of the better dancers and deserves to be there. Not because there's this big conspiracy.

Patsy and Anton deserved to go when they did. I think that Patsy is a better dancer than James... BUT she had forgotten and totally messed up her routines three weeks in a row. James had never mucked up his stuff or bumped into his partner because he was walking in the wrong direction. Patsy had me stressed week after week with her "stand-and-stumble" routines. Also they just didn't have the public vote behind them. They were in the bottom 2 three times and once even after Patsy was placed third with the judges.

I am known in these parts for my devotion to the Divine Du Beke, and I have been known to love the odd conspiracy theory, but I am as certain as I can be that the results are pretty kosher. There is all sorts of legislation covering phone polls and if TV companies rig them they can get into trouble with the Broadcasting Standards people. I think the BBC would be least likely to mess with these laws.

'Judge on the Grassy Knoll', You mean Craig Revel Horwood wasn't the lone assasin??? (John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald..... see the similarity)

I reckon it was Lord Lucan.........

Anton and Patsy went at the right time and James went at the right time. There is no big conspiracy, why would there be, if James/Anton are more popular, surely it would suit the BBC to get them to the final as their presence would generate more votes, and therefore more money for Children in Need, which is the aim of the programme.

Its right we aren't told about the votes. Although I think we should get all the statistics on final night, after results not before.

I think this time pretty much everyone went at the right time, except in the first few weeks. That is always going to happen as there is not much dancing to go on. In the first few weeks the public vote is so diluted you really need to be a big celeb, great dancer, or have one of the publically loved pros just to survive.

Ah but clever editing and rumours of extra training before the show has helped the conspiracy theory even if I wasnt an Anton fan Id think so

Your argument has flaws in it.

Zoe was in the bottom two with Patsy and beat here therefore where are all your Anton/Patsy fans. Unless of course it was a fix and all lies - in which case they could have fixed it choose as which week Zoe was against Patsy in the bottom two.

Zoe is a better dancer and deserves to be there.

Don't want her to win though.
