Nokia 6111
Does anyone have any idea where you can get the pink or the silver version of the nokia 6111, as illustrated on the nokia website?
Everywhere just seems to have the standard colour. Ta. |

Just a word of warning about this phone. Don't get it.
I got one yesterday and it is rubbish. Taking it back today. IMO the screen resolution is poor, the menus are crap. One other thing that annoyed me is that newer nokia's have a smaller charger hole than older ones, rendering existing chargers useless to newer models. Think i'm sticking with my 6230i for a bit longer! Anyone else got one and liked it? |

so nokia are changing their charger holes on the new models? that's stupid
if i could think of one good thing about the older nokias, it's that the charger holes are all the same size, meaning all the chargers are "universal"

The phones with the new charger hole are given with an adaptor to enable the use of the older chargers.
The chargers are not universal, some of the older ones don;t work with the new phones, and some of the older phones don;t work with the new chargers. |

I have 2 Nokia chargers (from different Nokia phones) that have different connectors
The older one has an output of 12V 0.8A (I think) - this is used to charge a 6V battery The newer charger has an output of 3.7V 355mA - this is used to charge a 3.6V battery Thank god the connectors are different! Last edited by dawson : 14-12-2005 at 19:57. |
