No, no, no, no, no - not Lesley again, the woman's an embarrassment

She really is so OTT and full of herself, I can't watch the TV when she's on. Why can't she just keep her mouth shut, if she's not gibbering away like a demented gibbon, she's tra la la'ing all over the place.

We know she can sing, but we don't necessarily want to hear it - especially on a programme about DANCING - why can't she get the message!

In heart of heart must agree but showed generous spirit in giving Monsieur Anton to every woman on planet for half an hour and best chance of seeing said M A dancing on TV in near future.

We'll have no dissing of The Lovely Lesley Garrett CBE on this thread thank you very much! It's called the Lesley please dance petition for a reason! And as Nat so rightly points out, a petition already started long ago!

Have to agree with you Geeny- I really miss Lesley's enthusiasm and chemistry with Anton too. It would be great to see them dance together again on the Christmas Special.

LG is unfortunately a bit of a luvvie. She was obviously never taught: if you can't think of anything useful to say, say nothing.

I believe she has been taking dancing lessons with her husband since she left series two.

Try series one!

Lesley was also awarded a couple of special recognition ballroom dancing awards. Which to me says quite a lot. The ballroom dancing world chose to honour Lesley in this way and not Natasha Kaplinsky or Jill Halfpenny. I think that proves how well regarded she is. Lesley has completely embraced dancing and her enthusiasm is entirely genuine. JLC did not call her a ballroom dancing envangelist for nothing!!
