conecting pc's soundcard to lcd tv
hi i was wondering if i could connect my samsung le32r41b hd tv to my pc soundcard so that when i play pc games the sound comes out of the tv and not my computer speakers.
my soundcard is an soundblaster audigy 2. the soundcard has a digital out 3.5mm jack. but is the tv capable of recieving the sound through this connection. any replies appreciated. thanks. |

I've got my PC connected to my LE40R51. I use a 3.5 to 3.5 cable from the green soundcard socket to the PC audio TV socket. Works fine.
Note that my TV is the "51" model, so yours might be different. If you connect up this way, you may need to reconfigure the PC speaker settings to get the best sound. I've got mine set to "desktop stereo speakers", because I mostly play MP3s. Not sure if the surroundsound modes work through the TV. |
