Read somewhere that Gary Rhodes won't be returning to the Kitchen, and that JC Nouvelle will be on his own, returning to a celeb format

Yup sounds much better. Not as good as Gordon but the best they could do without him.

I read that both Rhodes & Novelli are not invited back and only one chef will front the next series.

Thank god for that, hated those 2 morons!

I'm thinking Rick Stein or Michael Roux, or even Giorgio Locatelli.

As long as it isn't the dreadfully boring Brian Turner . . . . or the eye-popping and touching food after he's licked his fingers Ainsley . . . . or the fat and ugly, etc . . . . . . .

I did read Nouvelle was fronting it though.

hi,
I've also heard that Bobby devro (comedian) and Faria Alam(Had an affair with Sven Goran Erikson.) maybe the contestants in hell's kitchen in March.
Personally, I liked the fact that the last series had real people in it, and not just celebrities. But I'm also pleased that it's just Jean-Christophe this time too!
Do you think he's just like Gary Rhodes and just puts on an act, or do you really think he's like that?
Because I met him, and I thought he was a pussycat.

Well it looks like Novelli will be fronting this year's series after all, damn!

Just hope he does some cramming lessons to brush up his English soon. How on earth are those equally moronic producers so determined to have a non-english speaking guy to front such a big show like this, crazy???

Both Rhodes & Novelli were appalling last year so why didn't they just dropped those 2 idiots & have a new chef instead FFS....& there are really plenty of chefs around these days more than capable & far more entertaining to do the job properly.

James Martin is one of them & coming back on the screen on the back of Strictly Come Dancing appearance the ratings will definitely soar this time!

1) yes, apperantly it'll be celebrities this time rpund
2) I think you have to be a celebrity to eat there (or not eat there as the case maybe)
But you can win a table on their daily competition
3) I think Gordon is too busy with the American ones.

I see they're getting Novelli to appear more on cookery shows like Food Uncut on UK TV Food.....no doubt to get him to practice his English language.

Isn't it a celebrity one then?

Wonder if Carl Pemberton can cook? What about Coleen McLoughlin?

Have the ITV producers said about them, or is that just a guess?

The first series with the celebrities, was a huge success, so this time putting celebrities again, they are hoping to repeat this success. By the way, "amdallthatjazz" J-C accent isn't that bad, I don't know why everyone complains about it, I've listened to his accent for about 8 hour last month at his academy and either I got extremely used to it or his accent is good or I'm good with french accents. I learn French and Im awful!

Word is that Ramsay, Worrall Thompson, Ainsley Harriot, Delia and Nigella have buried the hatchet and will be partners in a new restaurant venture.....

They'll be packed every night!

Cheers,

Did I say anything about his accent? I'm talking about his articulation or lack of it. Get a glimpse of him on a show called Food Uncut & you'll see what I mean..... he cannot convey effectively what he wants to say....he certainly lacks eloquence ...and this is the guy who's is supposed to front a major series like HK????

I think that ITV haven't decided who they want on the show yet. So, they've put rumours out to get people like us to talk about who we'd like to see on the show, and who we wouldn't.

ITV if you are reading..... I don't want to see either of them two muppets from last year.

Even so andallthatjazz despite his lack of descriptive words in the english language, he's still pretty understandable. But if you are worried, maybe you should start brushing up on your french. And it's his passion of food which is more important, Unlike Gary, who on the last show seemed to have no fire in his belly at all! That's what makes him so firery-tempered (I work with 6 short-tempered men Chefs) And thats why the show is so interesting. For the pressure, shouting, swearing and cutlery throwing, it would be pretty boring is someone like David attenborough fronting it!

Hey don't you get personal with me! This is a British show why on earth do I need to bloody brush up on French language for!!! At least my rationale for disliking Novelli is perfectly within the context of the show .

And as far as Novelli is concerned the extent of his foul language is actually physically hurting people ( throwing those pots & pans until they hit one of the guys...in fact if that was me I would have sued the moron!) instead of having a logical discussion...note operative word being discussion...which of course he can't because he's not able to express himself due to his language deficiency.

And c'mon using David Attenbrough's name as an excuse just because you're losing an argument...a bit silly & lame don't you think....tsk tsk.

And another thing how can you say despite lack of descriptive words he's still pretty understandable when he can't say words properly & almost always on the verge of murmuring them!
