I managed to watched Food Uncut for the first time for a couple of weeks, and if you ask me (And that's not for one particular reason ) But J-C's accent and ability with the world famous english language is actually really good, he was clear with his words, put across every point well while cooking. (Even a task I sometime find difficult if very focused) There was no problems with his pronouncations at all! I asked my parents and my half deaf nan, and they all understood him loud and clear. What do you have to say to that "andallthatjazz"?????

I quite liked last year's HK, however I watched it in hospital and was under many crazy drugs at the time. HK was something I looked forward too though.

As much as I liked the first series, I though Gordon really overplayed his role, he very rarely gets as firey as he always was in series 1 in Kitchen Nightmares - which I think shows Gordon more like he actually is.

The American one was good, but not great. Gordon was very very firey, and again it seemed rehearsed. Think I prefer the English format.

I think thats the impression most US reality shows give if there not a live broadcast, same thing happens with The Apprentice I think, it seems far too polished and perfect IMO compared to the UK one.

Are you saying UK version is broadcasted live???

No, hadly any reality shows are, well except Pop Idol when it gets to the final 12.

What I'm saying is that American Reality shows seem to be very staged and rehearsed compared to UK versions of the show which seem more natural and more realistic

In Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, its not really his kitchen, he can only step back and watch while the kitchen staff do a rubbish job, while in HK it's his kitchen and his reputation on the line, that's why he's probabily a little more firey.
And as for HK USA, everything in america seems rehearsed, and he has to be over the top to get ratings.

I'm not so sure now as she was part of Celeb Big Brother, but that was the gossip at the time.

It's worth revisiting, even though we know where she's been, we don't really like it, do we? The scary idea of Ainsley "I get far too close" Harriot as the 'sleb chef doesn't sit easy with me, either. He touches too much stuff (and prob smells his fingers ) to make comfortable viewing.
Let's have someone who keeps a respectable distance.

Don't really like what - Faria? You must be joking! As her number one fan, I can only hope she will be appearing on HK...and many shows to come!

Any news when it'll be screened the original HK was against week 1 of BB5, and hammered it in the ratings - so it'll probably be screened againts BB between Celeb X Factor and LI.

But isn't Celeb X Factor and IL On the same channel as HK?

lets hope so. i certainly dont like watching 12 people in a house sitting talking smoking away - boring, and all these 3rd class reality tv shows. HK with Gordon Ramsay was brilliant, cant wait till the next one, in US but would hope that gordon actually does the UK one. Could that be the wait? Maybe waiting for gordon to come back from the USA from filming the US edition?

Does anyone know more now? I would really love to see Hell's Kitchen back again.

Erm... It may take some time, ITV and Jean-Christophe (If he still will be presenting it) have to get over the singing, let's just hope he doesn't break into chorus during service!
But on a more normal note, I have no idea when Hell's kitchen will be back on....

During the SoccerAid program (Ant & Dec) I swear I heard the commentators mention that Angus Deayton would be coming up against Ramsay again in Hells Kitchen in the autumn. Maybe I imagined it as I can't find ANY mention of this on the net... but i'll keep my fingers crossed it's true!!!

As much as I would love to see Ramsay come back it seems unlikely. He signed a three year deal with C4 in 2004, and is doing the second season of Hell's Kitchen USA, starting mid June. Fingers crossed though mattwalford, hope you were hearing right!

There's nowt clever about a cook who's had years of experience showing off to a few novices and then screaming at them because they can't get something right he demonstrated for about 5 seconds - nowt clever at all.

The opening shot of that Gordon Ramsay bloke walking along in slow-mo taking his shirt off is enough to make me balk so I'm not staying tuned to wait til he opens his big fat obnoxious mouth on that big fat ugly rotten turnip face of his (and I apologise to turnips for saying that because I quite like them).

I can't be bothered to read all this but I would like to know.

If it hasn't then who is going to be in it (as the cheif) I love JC and love his accent but he really needs to learn English if he is bad (I haven't watched anything that has him talking for long periods on it) because he has been living here for 20 years.
