What type of code is it asking for? Phone code? Sim Code? Security code? PUK Code? Pin Code? PIN2?

Did you buy the handset brand new from a shop? are you using a new or old sim card? What network?

This might help forum members answer your question.

Meanwhile don't press anything....

I know the default code to reset to motorola defaults is 000000 that six 0's!)

No idea if that's the one you want?

If it's not just the security code it's after and appears to be some other unlock code I would have the IMEI checked to make sure it's not been reported lost or stolen. If it has been and you use it then as well as the phone being locked out of all UK networks at some point, they will know who's sim card was in it before it was locked out.

Sounds as though the phone is locked to a network and ur using the wrong network sim card.

I'm thus assuming this is a pay as you go situation and not a contract where you would have gotten then sim and phone together?
