Appears to be Brylcreem!

Fancy following in David Beckhams footsteps! Mind you they share alot of the same attributes, IMO.

Can't see a million quoted anywhere - Alex is hardly in the David Beckham league of fame and recognition.........

Nice one Alex!!

While he's jetting round the world promoting Bryl Cream Jonny will be back to obscurity in the north of England smoking his way to an early grave.

Jonny could always promote nicotine patches.

I can see no reason whatsoever that Alex would get £1 million, £10,000 for a few ads in the next couple of weeks maybe but nothing more.
I see the main problem with all these ideas for advertising contracts etc is that they are only sellable assets whilst they are still actually in the house!
As soon as they come out, unless they are really special (and noone from any of the BB's has been special enough to carve their own niche in the media/music world) their sellability is restricted to selling their story to the media the day after they get out.
Beyond that it's just luck or like Brian last year holding out until something real comes along.

Each year companies give away freebies to get themselves connected to one of those in the house (eg this year with BA giving Jade tickets to foreign places) all the rest of the 'so and so will get £x to advertise x, is just boosting their own importance. It's like a scriptwriter who says my work is being looked at by 4 agents. Yes looked at then thrown straight into the bin.
I am perfectly happy to be proved wrong but really I see all these things as just free publicity for the companies concerned (stories in all the papers, mentions on the BB website etc) in colusion with BB.

Graham Norton gave the figure last night on his show. so it is £1 million. David Beckham got £4million so i dont see why it isnt true.
Brylcreem have already aproached C4 on this and want to snatch him quick. Maybe more lucrative deals are on the cards for Alex.
Jonny will get a rail season ticket if he is lucky

Um, Opaque - Alex is a model. He is also (at the moment) a very famous model. I would be surprised if Brylcreem offered him any less than a million - his currency will be good for the next few months at least, and he has the looks to go on to lose the BB connection altogether and be a "face" in his own right.

Brian has managed, I think, to make the public start forgetting he got his break from a reality TV show. I can see Alex being able to do this too.

Jonny? Well - if he won, he'd get a couple of late night "Ibiza Uncovered" type shows, maybe, but no lasting success. Same for Kate and Jade, I'm afraid.

You have to also remember this was BEFORE he admitted to taking E's and showing his bum on TV ...will be interesting to see wether they go ahead now ....NO company wants "bad press"

Or possibly putting out fires and saving lives? Just a thought

Not too many "angels" in the modelling business.Just read any newspaper or magazine. These are people with plenty of time on their hands, and amuse themselves in whatever way they want. Alex baring his bum or admitting to taking e's can hardly be seen as scandalous by today's modelling industry standards.

Brylcreem adverts or not, i think Alex can move forward and make his own career, despite all the supposed controversy.

Or possibly poking people in the chest, screaming at them and putting the fu**ing nut in.

I heard the reason Brylcreem are thinking about using Alex to promote their product is simply because 1) he currently uses the product and 2) his hair always looks good.

That guy just doesn't seem to have a bad hair day.

Any truth to the rumour that Tim has just been offered the "Just for Men" campaign?

Didn't I see Jonny confess to using this on one of the Internet feeds last night? I think E4 was on an Ad break at the time...

I thought Jonny was in charge of cleaning up after the Dalmation.

They don't let him touch the Fire fighting equipment because he get wee all over it, the other firefighters aren't into that.

Alex is a model yes but a model that was dumped by his agency 4 weeks before he came into the house.
Not to be rude to models but isn't there rather a glut of people calling themselves models. After all Jade can call herself a model after the photos she did (glamour and otherwise).

I'm not saying peoplewon't recognise his face (at least 8 million viewers would for a start) but I just don't think he's be worth the money. As someone else has said he is no David Beckham. He's just another one of those strange looking men you seeing wearing clothes at the back of GQ/Esquire.

Brylcream can sign him up but from what I've seen of other celeb endorsements the person being sponsored tends to be covered fairly widely by the media (Beckham,Hurley, etc etc) for their other exploits whilst at the same time getting a mention for being the Estee Lauder model or whatever as well.
Unless something changes when he gets out of the house I can't see that working for Alex. In terms of his media coverage he'll just be the winner of/a contesant of Big Brother, not the England Captain and not a pop star.

I'm sure his career will be better than it was post-Sept 11 problems but not to the value that some people seem to be attributing to him.

Alex will not be getting paid £1 million, he is probably part of a £1 million advertising campaign where he will get a cut of about £10,000+

My god some of you are now jealous that he might be getting some money and are making up anything to help convince yourself it's not true.

Who cares? Fair play to any of the housemates for making money out of this.

Futures of our BB starlets...

Alex - Brylcream Model. Paid a million. Wouldn't that p*ss some people off

Adele - The female Nasty Nick writing nasty column peices in the Star.

Jade - God damn this is a toughie. Probably why I'm not an agent What could she do well? Gob for England? Not sure thats a job.

Johnny - He'll be the cheeky chappie that comes around at night and nuts you on some C4 Show. Johnny Nutter perhaps.

Kate - Some sidekick to a presenter.

Tim - Not sure you can give a job to a lynched toff

The rest. - If there lucky, obscurity.

Nice one Toekiller, but at the end of the day, in lets say about a years time, we'll all be saying "So whats going to happen to the winner of BB4 next week then". How many people will remember the current lot?

Perhaps someone should start a new thread:

"What the HM's will be doing in 12 months time"

(LOL)
