I hate the V3.
It looks good, but that's where it ends. Feature wise it's nothing special. This is ok if you want just a phone that looks good, but if you want a few features then I would look elsewhere. Everyone I know that's had one of these, except my Dad who doesn't care about phones, has sold it very quickly and got something else. |

The v3 is a rubbish phone. Plus, it's nearly two years old!
However, the v3x is much better (so is the new 2G v3i) although the black version is exclusive to the three network. A silver version is available on Vodafone and there's a blue one coming to every network in January. |

The V3x might be better than a V3 but not on 3's network. They have to drop calls when in poor signal areas and the thing will have to reregister on 02 so not good. It's the same with all of 3's handsets.
Get the V3x on a decent network that has both 3G and GSM that switch seamlessly and it'll be worthwhile. |

That said even Nokia's intuitive menu system isnt what it was and their software/hardware is slower than ever - N70 for example. Are you going back with three or another 3g network? |

Personally I wasn't fond of the moto razr series at all. Although they look good, the menu system is a bit fiddly and texting with predictive text is not very much fund on this phone. Ultimitely it's going to be your personal preferance as no two people ever agree on what the "best" phone is. Most shops will let you have a play to see if a phone is for you so it would pay you to pop into a store and have a look at a few phones.

Got to admit, I never really had any problems with the Three network itself when I used it.
The only thing that let Three down for me was the lack of internet and the poor customer services. |

People must remember 3g is a relitavely new service and must be patient whilst coverage and masts are improved. If you're unhappy, let Vodafone know - they'll add it to their list of network improvements (bla bla) and then get around to improving it. Plus, be greatful you're not on o2 3G (as them poor buggers have a greater chance of living to 200 years old than getting a 1bar signal strength of 3G) |
