Personally, I would think not. But, there are minds, sadly with the ability to launch such a strike, that seriously believe so. George W. Bush, for one.

In the case of Titor, I think he said something along the lines of nuclear weapons had been used at ground level as opposed to air burst, thus minimising the fallout and damage to the target cities. The war he spoke of was not waged against the US, as a whole, but against the rogue US government.

Anyone who wants to check out this stuff, needs only to type John Titor into Google.

Was lucky enough to meet the lovely John Barrowman after his panto the other night. He said he's read the first script and is excited about the product. He wouldn't give anything away except to say that Gwenyth is not all that she appears...

Gwenyth from The Unquiet Dead?

Is she in it?

I thought Torchwood was set in modern day Cardiff. Perhaps Eve Myles who played Gwyneth is in the series but playing a different part or maybe even a descendant of her.

I think you're almost certainly correct on that one, Stuart.

As long as they don't bring in the real-life Trinny and Susannah (sp?) I have no objections.

Now that would be upsetting.

I don't think I've ever seen the real life ones but somehow it was very satisfying to see the demise of their robotic counterparts!

Maybe she didn't die after all - and possibly travels through the rift to present-day Cardiff?
