Is it me or is Tima posh cleaner version of what Spencer was?

Don't get me wrong I think Tim is a jack@ss, just wondering if anyone else thought this.

I'm mostly referring to the way he treats BB in the DR.

Not the racist stuff.

Yep, both dull as dishwater, and HATE being told what to do - even though thats the actual point of the game.

Spencer didn't think he was better than BB though, he had a dry wit, although shy, he was mischevious and more often than not you would laugh with.
Tim however, well, apart from the extent of any humour you get out of him is by laughing at him is a miserable stuck up bore, who DOES think he better than BB!!!

Spencer may be a pratt at times, but no way was he a vindictive manipulative nasty b****** like Tim.

Yeah, its funny that neither worked well in the group, preferring 1-to-1 interaction and had their funniest moments in the DR.

They both had issues with BB's authority, so, they could be seen as similar in that way. But the overiding difference was, when Tim did it, everyone said he was being arrogant and snobby, then when Spenny did it, he was seen as being cool and funny.

Does that say more about the audience than them?

Yup, the minute Tim opened his mouth in the house his accent and manner said "no way jose". He was doomed. All the rest, the pathetic nit picking and name calling, is largely a way of justifying a gut feeling of dislike. Spencer has a nice smile and a sexy air. Ergo he is a wonderful person. Trouble is once he opens his mouth - nothing. He has nothing interesting to say.
