HDTV through a PC monitor?

Hi.

Would it be possible to view HDTV through Sky's new HDTV set-top boxes on a high-res. PC monitor?

I think so, downloaded some Hi Def trailers and was mighty pleased.

SKY HD content will be accessible via component so convert that to VGA or DVI then you'll be fine assuming the monitor has sufficent resolution and is 16:9 otherwise rather pointless. You can of course buy a 16:9 PC monitor with HDMI which will become a standard feature as content control becomes a fact of life for PC use.
