I really do not know but what chance does Andy have when Maria and Brenda have gone and in shows like Big Brother Alison gets voted out straight away when she was full of life and needed to be kept in. Yeah i know you are all thinking of other names like Anoushka and Derek out of BB. Do not be shy vote andy and stop that shayne pain.

I think Brenda and Maria were robbed, and their talent was far greater than any of the finalists. That said, I wouldn't vote Andy because I don't think he's as good as the other two, and I certainly wouldn't vote just because it's about time a black person won a Reality TV show!

I agree that they were robbed but I am no fan of JS and certainly not the plank shaine. So Vote Andy the binman please.

I vote for people for their talent and personality, not the colour of their skin.

What's Kate Lawler got to do with anything?

Is she Welsh?

Jenp i am glad that you do but maybe some people don't as I have noticed in the strange results in recent years such as the talented lass who never got in girls aloud and she was the best and that horrible lil red head got in. Is that enough evidence for you.

They've misread your earlier post about a Welsh man or woman.

The Apprentice UK was won by a black guy called Tim. Not that the colour of his skin means anything at all. He beat 13 other people to prove to Sir Alan Sugar, that he was the best candidate for the job.

Anyone know in here when a new series is returning? I love both the American and British versions.

No, sorry.

But apparently the next American one is going to be done in LA instead of New York.

The Apprentice wasn't voted for by the public though, I don't think a black person has ever won a reality show in which the public decides the winner unfortunately (shame as Maria should have won this series of x factor).

Same here. The colour of someone's skin shouldn't come into it or be a reason to vote. By bringing someone's skin colour into the equation as a cheap shot at getting them votes is wrong.

If a person has the vocal talent, that should be enough for them to win

Not necessarily, as has been proved in the past. However true quality usually rises to the top, which is why Lemar is doing so well and the one that won FA isn't.

I don't think we should bring racism into it.

With Chenai leaving well she is just crap...
With Maria leaving it was Louis giving his friends another chance...
With Brenda leaving,well i think personally it's because she's a women...
and as for Andy i find him very very boring.

Brenda should have won!

In my Opinion David Sneddon was the best vocalwise and he was a deserving winner and time will prove that.

I didn't say though that vocal talent always wins out. I said vocal talent should be enough and for the most part I have found in these singing contests the right person usually wins. I wanted Will, David and Steve to win and all did. I also liked Gareth but believe he deserved 2nd place to Will. There is still ample time for David and Steve to shine through and also Gareth and even Michelle and they will Biding your time and getting it right to appeal to the masses is the best policy, Instead of rushing stuff to stay in the public eye and have your appeal dwindle as a certain act is is now finding out. Will showed and Lemar also showed after FA. All good things come to those who wait

Skin colour should not be brought into a vocal talent contest as an appeal for a certain favourites votes. Try and gain votes by their vocal attributes and stage presence is what I saying. not this way. Leave the underhand tricks to the politicans for vote pulling on things.

I can't actually think of a black conteststant I have really really WANTED to win until this show (Brenda, grrr!!!!!!!!!!). I loved Victor on BB but purely because he was such a despicable character and was entertaining - I was torn between wanting him to win and wanting him off my TV screen so I don't really count him. I liked Derek this year for much the same reasons!

Apart from thinking Brenda is amazing I would have loved her to win just to shut up the PC brigade who bleat on that "a woman/older lass/black person/blah blah blah" will never win a UK reality show ...

To be honest, I always look past a person's skin colour as it doesn't and shouldn't matter in any contest, especially a vocal one, or in everyday life for that matter.

I mean I was routing for Science and Makosi in this years BB, as I just found them both so entertaining and that is what I wanted to be, entertained, and I wanted Carol to win Im a Celeb. Far too much emphasise is put on someone's skin colour, when it should not be, as that is all it is a skin colour and it is the person that matters, the person who they are.

I really wanted Derek to win this year's Big Bro.

And he go more cheers and chants when he left the house then anybody else...although Science was very close.

Must have been all their fans down that day though.
