I think sadly that all we will see on BB4 is die hard desperate wannabees that put this years contestants in the shade .

Lets face it who on earth seeing the press and reading these forums would consider putting themselves in the firing sites to be strung out to dry by millions of people commenting on all past and present "crimes" from their schooldays till the present day.Not to mention the risk of getting jeered on their exit.

No one of a sane disposition

So all we'll get are "performers" who will do ANYTHING to get on TV and get exposure.Make way for all singing all dancing all acting further contestants sadly

Funny you say that - I was really considering applying today. For some reason the challenge really applies to me, i mean its such a hard task to even get into the house, let alone win it.

The only problem is, as a mum of a 3 year old child, i'd just get absolutely slated, we havent had any mums on before have we, though we have had a couple of dads.

I would really miss my son, though. I dunno. Maybe I should just apply and see how it goes. Cross that bridge when I come to it, etc.

For the record though - and I know what youre saying - i have no desire to sing, dance, act, present. I cant do any of them for a atart! No, if I were going to do it, it would be for the money and the challenge. Seriously.

I'd happily apply to be on the production team. As for being on the inside, hell no, I wouldn't want to jepodise my career which I think puts a lot of people off hence the high number of 'wannabes' in media/drama/entertainment applying as it is a good platform for them.

I'm 34, were I 10 years younger, I'd apply.
Young persons game.

But we need more people from this age group to apply! They're all 'young' this year, and look what happened!

I think for BB4, they need to get people to apply for an unknown show and not tell them its Big Brother.

I'm thinking about it...however the thought of ex-girlfriends making money by selling stories to newspapers and the fact I might not get the perfect 6 pack by next year may put me off....still thinking about it...

This wouldnt work for a number of reasons, mainly because theyd have to get them to agree to be locked away for up to 9 weeks...I think the penny might just drop then!

Not necessarily. They did that blind auditioning method for that BBC2 prison reality experiment.
That was shown a couple of weeks before BB3 started.
It was a damn good programme too.
The psychologists REALLY did seem to come out with some great obsevations.
The characters were excellent too, and the tension was intense.

No wannabes there, and they produced a great program without having wannabes on.

plus they'd have to nominate... one of them would disappear every week... I think they might just catch on...

I've had a few people telling me that I should apply, and I am considering it for the next series. Don't really know why, I think it would be interesting to experience an environment like that. No real thoughts about the money as I'm happy with my present work.

So, my some miracle, if you see a Scots guy in BB4 who looks a bit like PJ and I mention "Does anybody here remember Father Jack or Petergoat from the Digital Spy forums?" you know who I am, and are welcome to slag me off to the press and media, and on this board, as much as you wish

I'd apply.

I'm fat, ugly, over 35 and I don't like anyone.

Heck I'd be a superstar in days

I'd still be tempted but the trouble with being older is there are a lot more skeletons in the closet!!!! Mind you, the press intrusion seems to an extent to depend on how controversial a character is. Kate has played a good game by always being one step behind: taking part but not leading. We still don't know all there is to know there yet (after she wins ...)

I'd love to experience the surprise of BB1 ... this production team seemed to be rather devoid of ideas, somewhat unoriginal and totally non-proactive in anticipating obvious screw ups like the eviction YAWN lottery.

Part of the problem is that the program is so stereotyped now the contestants know the format, understand the voting, understand what is coming next including the surprises. Without the mystery half the adventure has gone.

Yup, not put off. Bit too old and no wishes to become a presenter ... I guess that rules me out ;o(

Im maybe too old,
Is there an age limit to enter?

I dont need £70grand!

I just want a 9 week break doing something different, having a laugh, acting the fool, bitching about the HMs I dont like, lying in the sun, flashing my fat belly, etc.

I dont understand why people get so uptight over nominations, I would enjoy it.

Yes of course they'd realise that they were on BB, but I think the idea is that you eliminate as many wannabes as you possibly can, right from the start.
