Cant say I agree. Spencer will do his toothpaste ad and then what ? He has no star quality, simply something the advertisers can latch onto for a "joke" advert.....then what ? What happened to Darren and his chicken appeal ? Alex is already in advertising and long term it is his looks, image and appeal that will out. All this has done is probably expose him a little more widely though no doubt there will be an initial rush to have the guy in adverts. He could improve his long term success in modelling but only if his face is what people are looking for. As for Jade, comic value ? The only comic value she has is that people laugh at her rather than with her. Her biggest drawback is her inability to articulate and advertising wise, the only thing she would really be good for advertising is the need for elocution lessons. Certainly they will have the opportunity to make a bit of money afterwards but long term I doubt if any of them have enough "star quality" to maximise on the opportunities. Which of the original BB "stars" have stayed the distance and managed to make a real success of what opportunities they had ? And don't quote Brian to me as we have yet to see, though he may well prove to be the only one.

I suspect that they heard it when Davina was testing the crowd reaction for each remaining HM. They definately discussed how it was strange BB had let them hear the crowd last night. This could explain Jonny's depression if he thought his name did not get the biggest cheer.

its quite obvious jonny wanted alex to go as he saw him as the main competition. he's especially p*ssed off now that alex has equalled his "three times and stayed" record...jonny thought he was invinsible

craig and helen werent exactly quality - in a purely televisual capacity - were they? the talent to do what exactly? suck your cheeks in and pout? smoke fags? what talent required?

for the sheer abuse received alone, only one person "deserves" to win.

but it might just be the "good looking one" because we are all fairly superficial like that. people have done experiments about it. its called the art of stating the bleedin obvious. the real winners are the producers/advertisers/bandwagoneers...

Alex may be gorgeous and very good-looking but you don't just like someone for their looks, his personality is infectious and you just watch with intrigue as to what he will do next. Unlike the other three who are so predictable, the viewers would have been bored to tears without Alex's input to stir the house into a few "debates"!!

Why was Spencer liked so much from the first minute he walked into the house?.......looks perhaps, because he didn't do or say anything for the first couple of days but managed to get a huge following of fans. So don't criticise people for saying Alex is a complete hunk, he is though, but we love the personality as well and perahps that is why Alex beat Spencer when they were up for eviction.

Alex to win as he has given us some of the best moments of BB3 particularly his spat with Jade the other night, give the guy the £70k just for the"lick my a**e" comment which is bound to be one of the most repeated clips and one which I can't wait to see Alex's reaction when he finally emerges from the house on Friday....the winner I hope. I think he may be slightly embarassed but drunk or sober the guy is a star.

The camera likes Alex, he has charisma, a presence and he is only 23 years of age, he has got years a head of him, he could be trained in most aspects of the showbiz world from TV presenting to acting, most male actors usually make it big after their 30th birthday. Of all the contestants he is the one Housemate that doesn't need to win BB because I think he is going to be famous whatever happens this week. For weeks we have been talking about his eccentricity, but when you think about it, most of the famous people are eccentric, they have to drink bottled water a certain temperature, eat a certain type of breakfast, sleep only on a feathered pillow etc, we have read all the stories, Alex is going to fit right in with the celebrity life style.

Jonny takes such delight in whinging about him being up for eviction 3 times...he's probabl just unhappy that there's someone else that can now claim his "accolade". Just my opinion.....

Alex is back on form and is getting on with enjoying the experience. He was engaging Jonny, Jade and Kate in a wide range of conversations last night about films, politics etc (the first time l have heard Jonny, Kate and Jade talk about anything meaningful).

Anyway, throughout the conversations l noticed that Jonny, Kate and Jade looked slightly uncomfortable despite the fact that they were engaging in and laughing at what Alex was saying. Alex looked happy and this seemed to freak them out! The three of them are having regrets, especially Kate who kept repeating that she had voted for Alex every week and as a result is worried about how the voters will percieve her.

Either way the result was not a happy one for Alex and the others knew this probably why the HMs didn't say anything at the time to Alex. As for Jonnie being dissapointed at the result I think not, as the shouts indicated over the wall told them Tim was gone.

Kate said something to Jonny while Tim and Alex where in the bedroom about whether she should congratulate Alex, Jonny told her not to as he doesn't like it.

In the past Alex has expressed he doesn't like being congratulated for not being evicted because he has done nothing to deserve it and seems to feel uncomfortable about the ones going out.

I think Jonny's biggest threat is Kate, if Alex had been booted then Jonny wouldn't have had a chance as all the Alex fans would've voted for Kate.

Alex and Kate will split the vote enabling Jonny to WIN

My opinion is that Kate and Jonny have been the ones with the same supporters. This is probably due to the close friendship they have making all their so called funny bits being the same.

Can somebody explain to me exactly what it is about Spencer that constitutes star quality. Not a bad looking guy I suppose but doesnt have anything to say. His appearances on BBLB have been plain embarassing. Its like getting blood from a stone, trying to get an insightful observation out of him. In the house he did nothing but slob out. Only Lee could challenge him on the 'dull' front but he has an excuse, he's a bodybuilder.

jonny is very worried last night he was in the garden with just kate and he said .........next week kate i think we ought to act like lunatics ...........and he said this after someone shouted over the wall we love you alex

As an Alex supporter was just wondering if anyone else enjoyed a lip from the 70's party the other night.

When the music eventually started Alex was in the bedroom getting dressed and Kate came in to look for him. Alex stepped quickly behind the door so Kate just looked in the left, presumable to check out side. as the door closed and reveiled Alex again he was smiling up athe camera and singing along to the track!! lol...

I thought this was especially funny and showed a good aspect of Alex's humour. Anyone else catch it?

No seriously, I don't like Alex but I have to admit I laughed at that.

As other posters have pointed out Alex has stated in the past he doesn't like being congratulated as he hasn't done anything to deserve it. Am Alex supporter but think things are going OTT re reason Johnny didn't look happy at the result - could be many reasons for this - maybe worried going to be an unconfortable week if Alex keeps isolating himself (wouldn't presume to judge).

Not really fussed who wins but liked that clip and also liked Alex's barney with Jade the other night. He's just proved to be the most entertaining if you take Jades tantrums out of the question.

I know a little while back I was deffending Jade but her attack on Kate and Johny the other night just annoyed me!
