I can't believe I have watched x-factor for weeks to see someone win it who's voice is average! He won because he's a decent looking guy and all the teeny boppers have been voting for him. I give him 6 months and you will have forgotten his name

yes Shayne is good looking BUT he is very talented and i'm sure he will be around for awhile not all Shayne fans are teenyboppers you know some of us are in their 30's

We all know Chico will be the real winner of X Factor 2005. I have asked all my friends and all my family, and whenever I mention the X Factor they shout 'Chico!'. This time next year people will be saying "Shane who?" and "Chico, the biggest selling artist of the year". Well done, Chico.

He has a lovely range and can sing really well - that last no of Unchained Melody was excellent - its not all about looks!

Shayne wasn't my favourite. In fact, I wanted him out first tonight.

In saying that, the public get what the public want, so good luck to him. At least I can admit that the winner CAN sing, IS good looking (if you like that sort of thing) and is definitely a commercially viable product. I'm sure with the right material he could be around for at least a few years.

What gets me is coz someones favourite doesn't win they come and slag off the winner. It's all down to opinions you know! he won coz people voted for him to win. I voted for him and I aint no teeny bopper..I voted coz I loved his voice!

Shayne is the full package. I picked him out during the auditions as the only true winner. Wow - he is gorgeous and what a voice.
