So Shayne won it.....obvious from the start....Fixed.....call it what you will.....I just pray he has the sucesss of last year's winner and that ANDY (who I voted for) has the success of last year's runner up......Shayne is is like a million to one other acts out there already, call it sour grapes if you like, but this time next year he will be as forgotten as Steve Brookstien.

Andy will be the next G4 and I hope Journey South too, go on to much bigger and better things.

Well he'll get to play in The Match if his footy skills are up to it.

I din't think Shayne was crap but thought Andy was better. However, it doesn't make for fairness when you have a baised judge and a song written for one act only.

Shane sang the Xmas single well, but Andy just should of won, because... he should have, much better vocalist and more consistent throughout the whole series.

What I don't understand is your desire for this to happen. What would it benefit you if it did? Or in fact, what harm would befall you if Shayne went on to be really successful?

With the exception of Will Young the "pretty" boy tends to win these shows on the night. However, all you have to do is look at the success of G4 and Lemar to see that coming second is a good platform for the talented artists.

obviously some people on this forum are tone deaf if they think that people who sing live every week in front of millions of people are crap. I thought Andy was great tonite but just because he didn't win doesn't make me think that shayne was dreadful.

Even as good as he is, he's just the poor man's Will Young. I don't see why we need two, and I really don't think the real one is ready to hang up his mic just yet, do you?

Just coz he's been favourite from the beginning doesn't make it a fix!

I agree with you. They were all great tonight. The choice of songs were JS's downfall though.

Who's fault was that I wonder? It couldn't be the same judge that ensured Shayne won, could it?

I'm sorry but Shayne WAS dreadful!!!!

Just because you can hold a tune, doesn't make you a good singer! Shayne has NO charisma whatsoever and DOES NOT have the X Factor whatever Simon says....

All three final acts tonight were outstanding (a better final than last year) but for the first time ever Shayne gave me goose bumps. Both he and Andy nailed the money notes and am sure it could have gone either way.

He won't be a one minute wonder because he has Lois walsh as his mentor and he might be a slime ball BUT he is one good manager!

Think, west life, Girls Aloud , G4.

Even Simon Cowell thought Shayne was amazing

Why not just be glad your Andy did not win as you are so sure the runner up will do better anyway!
