G4 sold millions (even though I'm not a fan) and so will Shayne! Those who think Shayne will be gone this time next year will be in for a shock. So many sour grapes on these boards at the moment.

The best man won!

We will see if the little teenage girls go out to buy his singles like they sat voting on their mobiles!

No, I think you have to be talented to be successful. Like Will Young!

Shayne is going to have a long and succesful career. Whether you like him or not it's not rocket science to figure that one out.

We just received our BT phone bill yesterday so if parents have also received their bills the kiddies will be too busy paying the bill off with their pocket money to have the money for the single.

I agree Shayne will do well. I wasn't in favour at first, but he does have something, even if it's not as outstanding as some of the other acts.

Wishful Thinking. You state it as if it's a fact!

I think you are all forgetting something --- last year's winner had Simon Cowell this year's has Louis Walsh. I can't stand the little toad but give him credit he is one good manager. Simon moves on to other projects and is quick to distance himself, what he did to Steve Brookstein was just a repeat of Michelle McManus. Louis sticks with his acts

I would have been happy whoever had won between him and Andy, they both have great voices. I think Shayne will get better and better and he's got the right look and the voice to be around for a long time Well done Shayne!!!

Not sure - but I heard somewhere that both Simon and Louis will be managing Shayne??

I don't think he'll last long, IMHO, musically there isn't a market for people like him, there are too many people that are singing the same stuff as he is.

Just my opinion though!

It's not wishful thinking, he has the looks, the talent and the youth factor. All three judges are sure he's the right winner, all are positive that he will have a career. I think they would know what they are talking about.

Louis Walsh manages Girls Aloud and they have been successful.

So hopefully, Shayne should have as much success, if hes got him as his manager.
