Final 4 BB2 V Final 4 BB3

This years final 4 are a much better mix then last year. Elizabeth and Dean were predictably voted out first, the public never having got the chance to vote them out first. Helen and Brian were the amusement, but it was a shame that Brian had never been up for nomination, B and H were too influenced by E AND D and the last week was not entertainment, with an obvious winner.
This year all have been up for eviction, there are 2 strong corners, with Jade in the middle, and no obvious run away winner. Perhaps BB did do well in the selection of housemates.
I am looking forward to the last week and Friday.

I agree. It's better this year, with there being no deadset winner, with three (maybe even four) housemates all with a chance of scooping the prize. It'll be a much more entertaining week; last year Dean and Elizabeth made it dull, whereas this week all four should be quite entertaining, as with Tim away, Alex will come out of his shell.

I was thinking about the last two series, and it's funny that all three series have had two girls (Mel,Anna and Helen,Elizabeth) in the final four and two boys (Darren,Craig and Brian,Dean). This year this pattern has been continued with two girls: Jade,Kate and two boys: Alex,Jonny. Also, to look, at the last two series, there's a pattern with regard to sex for people in the final four being voted out. This includes:

BB1: Mel Darren Anna Craig
BB2: Elizabeth Dean Helen Brian

This is, of course, a coincidence, but interesting nonetheless. Could we see Jade, followed by Jonny, followed by Kate, followed by Alex, for example? This would complete the pattern.

Or, another pattern regarding the series with regard to evictions, is a weird one that all evictees have been coupled with regard to sex. This can be exemplified by:

Lynne, Allison (Two girls)
Lee,Spencer (Two boys)
Sophie,Adele (Two girls)
PJ,Tim (Two boys)

This, too, shows a pattern, coincidental but again interesting. Could we see, for example, a continuation of this pattern, with Jade, followed by Kate, leaving, then a battle between Jonny and Alex?

Again, anything is possible. But this week should be quite entertaining.

I think the British public has also become a lot more educated about Big Brother...and voted to keep in the character that would provide the most entertainment/friction.

Listening to Dean's and Elizabeth's endless drivel last year certainly told me to start treating BB has a piece of entertainment, rather than a popularity contest.....

Something that struck me as similar to BB2, and might be an indication of how BB3 pan out, is the relationship of the evictees to the remaining housemates.

In BB2 Brian had lost all the people he'd been close to to eviction, notably Narinder and Bubble, and was left adrift from the main groupings within the house (Paul/Helen & Dean/Elizabeth).

This year Alex has lost his allies to eviction/walking, Sandy, Adele and Tim, and looks a probable winner.

Again, maybe just a coincidence, but interesting none the less.

Last year I couldn't make up my mind who to vote for to win as I liked all of them equally.. This year I don't know who to vote for as I dislike them all equally. I think I will vote for Jade though, she is the only one who has done anything to earn my vote.
