Hmm spoiled for choice-

- Crazy Frog for obvious reasons
- Westlife and Diana thingy. Pass the sick bucket.
- Eamonn and Frankie. Or was that last year?
- The X Factor winner single. Wetter than a wet weekend in
Wetsville. Bleughhhh. Bet even Westlife turned that one
down as too sickly....
- Black Eyes Peas. My Bumps or Lumps or whatever the hell
it's called. Brutal.

I'm away to think of some other horrors.

I never really like much in the singles charts. Think I'm too old. Then again looking at some of these songs I think anyone over age 10 must be too old

Black Eyed Peas - My Humps. What a dreadful song. Especially when the lead singer repeats the line "My lovely lady lumps" about 5 times. I cringe everytime it comes on the radio.

Axel F was bad but this must surely be the worst song ever, never mind this year. It has no beat or rhythm, the video was terrible and Wes Butters was behind it.

I've noticed alot of the songs mentioned were on the Record of the Year shortlist. It shows what a debacle of a competition that is.

Agree with most put forward, but like Katie Melua's song, however the mastering on the album is positively dreadful and completely wrecks it.

My Humps and the Crazy Frog are especially awful.

Gosh, how could I forget that pile of tuneless wank-drivel?

It was awful. And I am even surprised that people turned up to participate in the video. Mugs, the lot of 'em!

Worst song for me has to be Steve - Against all odds, think it was still out at the start of 2005, also don't like the JCB song, and the new X-Factor winners song is also poor.

Not been the best year for music, have to say there's been allot of squeaky really annoying artists (James Blunt, Akon, Gwen Stefani only to name a few) but they do grow on you.
